" I don't think you are timid," Faith said. " I think you are very confident when you are talking about what you believe in . " She leaned across the table and stroked Joy's smiling face. " And a very beautiful woman at that. "
Then she kissed the pastor on her suddenly startled but ultimately responsive lips. Joy's eyes drifted closed and she very much enjoyed the kiss. Until she felt Faith's mouth opening and her tongue parting her closed lips to slide into her own mouth.
Joy froze in her seat. What if Faith had a open cut in her mouth? What if she herself had one and she didn't know about it? What if ....... What if ........
No.....
Joy jerked away from Faith suddenly.
Faith widened her eyes at the woman. " Joy , are you ok ? Too much? Sorry. I've never been out with a pastor before. "
Joy swallowed hard. " I have to go. I had a good night. I have to go. "
Then she grabbed her purse and stood up to rush from the room as though she was being chased by demons.
Leaving Faith behind looking shocked and puzzled. What the hell ? , she thought.
