Gerald HighTower's Email To All Staff At Barrington Academy's Hyattsville Campus
They say you can not ever go home again. I would not know if that was true or not. I have been privileged to have spent twenty of the most blessed and wonderful years of my life at this school. I first came here when I was thirty years of age. I was assistant headmaster at that time. I worked under my mentor Dr. Smithfield and he taught me so much. When he retired and I was promoted to headmaster I hoped I would one day inspire the staff the way I was by him. I don't know if I actually have. I don't know if I actually made a bit of difference in my time at the school. But I just want to say I have been honored to have been your headmaster for these ten years. This is my home. This was my home. You were my family. And I grieve that I am now leaving my home and my family. Thank you for the years of bliss. I wish you all much luck in the New Year. Goodbye. - All my best , Dr. Gerald Alexander HighTower the Sixth , former headmaster of Barrington Academy
