This is Denise Forbes with an early breaking news report about.... what seems to be a school wide student led walkout at Barrington Academy in Hyattsville on the last day of school before the holiday break. I'm not sure what lead to this walkout but it appears to be linked to the recent firing of headmaster Dr. Gerald HighTower.

In the office of his car dealership Arnold Saunders barked into the telephone," What the hell is going on at that school ! I'm hearing that your daughter is also involved. And your son ! Do something to control this ! "

On the other end of the phone from his office as he prepared to leave for the school, Richard said sharply," What am I supposed to do ? The whole school is in an uproar now. And it's your fault. You started this by removing Gerald. Just bring him back and they'll go back in. "

Arnold snapped," I will not. I will not be manipulated by a bunch of children. Get to that school and control your children and the other troublemakers or I'll make sure the police do. "

Richard stopped in mid step out of his office. His grey eyes chilled. " You would never call the police on these children. They could get hurt ! Are you mad ! "

" I'll do whatever it takes to end this nonsense. Right now. "

" Then ," Richard yelled , startling his secretary," get Gerald HighTower back at the school ! But if you call the police and one of my children are harmed I'll see you in hell for this. "

Oscar tried to take the megaphone from Luci who snatched it away from him and stood her ground firmly. " We demand that our headmaster be back here at the school now ! ," she snapped.

Richie ran up on the steps. " Yeah ! And we want soul food in the cafeteria too ! Y'all food sucks ! "

Lewis , in the crowd, slapped himself in the face and shook his head over his foster brother. Next to him Diamond stood , her blue eyes wide and staring at Richie. " He's cute ," she whispered to Lewis who blinked his eyes at the girl he had a crush on.

Zora stepped from the crowd and ran onto the steps to Oscar, saying," I tried to stop them , sir. It was all Luci Moore's fault ! She started it. "

The crowd of students began booing Zora who hid behind the assistant headmaster who was starting to look quite sick.

Arnold snapped on the phone," You need to get to the school and put a stop to this now. Before I call the law on these rabble-rousers. "

Gerald HighTower stood in his study , watching the breaking news report, as he held the phone to his ear.

" You wouldn't dare. The PR would kill you you know, Arnold. "

Arnold sneered ," Well something has to give. They can't just stay out there. Do something. They'll listen to you. Do you want them hurt ?"

Gerald sucked in a breath. " I'll go. Do not call the police. "
