Richard had just finished an emergency hearing with a commissioner where he had eloquently gotten Faith released from custody on her own recognizance with no bail needed to await trial on the pending assault charges against the Montgomery County police officer Ted Young.
He was on his way back to the holding cell area to tell Faith the good news , at least about the bail hearing, and that she would be released as soon as all the paperwork was finalized when his phone rang.
It was Gerald from the school about Lewis. And the headmaster's news to him was not welcomed at all.
