Winston Arnett was alone in the house he shared with Joe Jacobs. He was not due in for work until much later that day. And Joe hadn't been home since their previous discussion about Harts and Flowers. He was starting to worry about the man as well as about their relationship. Whatever that might be really. He had actually deleted his account on the dating app and wanted to tell Joe if he could actually get a moment alone with the man. It was not like he had much luck with it anyway. Between Joe and the dating app he had never felt quite so rejected in his life.

He stepped into the kitchen to fix himself some lunch and his eyes saw the open back door. Alarm crept over his entire being. He remembered closing and locking that door earlier. Why...... Was Joe back home?

" Joe ? ," he called out right as he was grabbed roughly from behind. His heart nearly froze up in terror as he felt big muscled arms holding him too tightly. So tight he could not escape even as he tried to pull away. Then a gloved hand put a sharp deadly looking knife against his neck, his vulnerable exposed neck, and he instantly stopped moving.

" Please," he whimpered, feeling like a very young child. "Please just take what you want and go. Please. Don't hurt me. "

The masked intruder whispered in his ear," Oh , I'm going to go but not till I take what you owe me, Arnett. You ruined my damn life."

Winston felt his heart beating rapidly. So fast he thought he might have a heart attack. " Take what you want. My wallet is in my pocket. Take anything you want. Please don't hurt me. " Please. God. Joe. Where are you, Joe ? , his mind pleaded silently. Please. He did not want to die. His life was shit but he didn't want to die. Please. God. Someone help him.

" Oh , " the man almost purred as his other hand reached for his belt buckle," I'm going to take what I want. And , Arnett , it's going to hurt bad. If you scream , if you fight, I'll kill you. Just do what you are told. This is what you deserve. "
