Alan lay awake in his bed thinking of Theodore. He missed him. He wished he could turn the clock back to before yesterday. How had everything changed so fast for them?

He picked up his phone and checked his texts. Nothing. Least not from the one boy who he was starting to call his boyfriend in his head. Then he pulled up the sign language app he had downloaded on his phone. He wasn't going to just give up on Theo and their relationship. He couldn't. As far as feels he was way too far gone for all that. Anyway, he thought to himself, if nothing else it would look good on his college applications in a few years. Right?

Theodore held his phone in his hand and kept staring at the picture of Alan. He wished he could redo time.

Luci and Sol cooed over the baby girl that Spencer held in his arms as DuBuis watched from the doorway of the living room. He wondered if they were making the right decision. Then he saw the pure contentment on his husband's face as the man gazed at Miracle in the cute little pink onesie that his mother had gotten her. He sighed. And silently prayed that Spencer wouldn't get his heart broken in bits and pieces if they eventually had to give this child up.

" Miracle Norland - Lane ," Spencer whispered. " She looks like an..... angel. "

Nicholas stepped onto the hotel room balcony as his fiancee was in the bathroom taking a shower. He pulled out his cellphone and dialed a number that he had discovered through some adept searching online.

" Hello," Nigel Norland said with a questioning lilt to his voice. " Who is this? "

Nicholas hesitated. What if he was wrong? Then again what if he was right ? What could he lose anyway? He had never gotten anywhere in his life without tackling any number of risks and challenges. Why was this different?

" This is your father," he said briskly. " At least I believe I am your father. Hello, Nicholas Jr. "
