Gerald: Alfred, I'm happy to say that Lewis Norland was not the one who stole poor Stan from you. We have the culprits and they will suitably be punished. Also I was hoping you could have dinner with me on Friday. Just a friendly dinner. Maybe at Richard and Nigel's ? If you want to.
Alfred: I'm on free period. I'm very glad Lewis was not the one. He really is a very good boy. I was surprised when he first confessed. It just wasn't like him at all. The dinner is fine but I have another engagement that night. I'm sorry. Maybe another time?

Gerald: Is it a date ? Your other engagement?
Alfred : I think so. Yes. It's a date. I have a date on Friday night.
