Wands at the ready, Riddle asked the girl his request. "Melenas-san, this prince is in need of a nap. Care to sing him a lullaby?"

Fists clenched and resolve renewed, Meryu simply replied: "Of course, Mr. Rosehearts. This is a song befitting for a king!"

Her body began to glow, her song's power forming into existence.

"Tch!" The song had slowly started to take effect. Chains of binding light whirled around their target, lunging at them and chaining Leona's wrists as well as the Ink Monster's ankles. He pulled at them, wincing at the feeling of his powers being frozen shut. "YOU DAMN REYVATEIL!!!"

"Now, everyone. Attack!" Everyone who stayed behind then charged towards the Overblotted Leona.

"COME AT ME WITH ALL YOU GOT!!" Even bound by the Divine Child, Leona dared them to face him. His eyes glowing brighter, his magic over sand becoming stronger.

Everyone took shots at Leona and back, needing to make sure Meryu focuses on stunting Leona long enough for them to break him out of his Overblot. Jack deflected a dangerous blast of sand in his wolf form from hitting Cater. Meanwhile, Riddle's flames burned brightly with Ruggie's Void and Water Magic while two copies of Cater acted as shields for the singing girl.

Said hyena glanced back at the copies defending the nurse cladded Meryu, face confused by the girl standing there and singing. "Hey, Riddle-kun! Why isn't she fighting back? She did before!"

"It's possible she needs to focus on holding Leona and his phantom back!" he yelled back.

He couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Seriously?!"

"Yeah! She did this when Riddle overblotted. Even the smallest of distractions would null and void her song."

'Shit! So that's why-!' The wolf lamented. It was no wonder why she couldn't physically defend herself back in Vargas' class that day. Her methods of fighting really were different then everyone else's. No point regretting it now he told himself; this time he's gonna make sure to fix his mistakes tenfold!
