Ch.278 Surgery Day

Before Leia's surgery, Emma took Ian for his one year check up. He was given four needles. Emma was hugging and comforting her son. Ian was gripping her shirt. "You are okay. No more owies. Shh..shhh...You are staying with Mama, baby duckling." She kissed her son on the head. Ian stops crying. She kissed her son on the head. "Are you sure, he is okay?"

"He is a healthy and strong boy." Ian babbles. She can read Emma's face. "Emma, Leia ..."

"I know Leia and Ian are different people. I just want to make sure he is healthy, not sick."

"He has no signs as Leia does. He is a healthy baby boy completing his milestones. " Ian gripped his Mama's hair. "You like to walk Ian?" Ian screaming

"He has been walking around everywhere and trying to climb into everything.

Emma was busy the day before making sure Leia had everything for her surgery. Snow White was helping Emma on the checklist. Hope was playing with Leia and being overprotective of her. Henry and Charming were with the little ones. He was reading to his siblings and played with Leia with her favorite toys. Killian was working at the pub during the day. He was ensured his bar had everything and his crew schedules for when he takes time off to be with his daughter during her surgery.

The following day was Leia's surgery day. Emma woke up Leia. "What shirt do you want to wear?"

"Budder fly dwess!"

"Good choice." She dressed Leia in a butterfly dress and tied her hair up in a ponytail.

"Mama?"

"Yes, sweetie?"

"Will sick in arm go away?"

"Yes, it will, sweetie. This surgery will help you not be sick." She hugged her daughter. "You are doing to be very brave today."

"Like you and Dada."

"Yes, rainbow duckling."

Killian enters the room. "There is my baby pirate princess."

"Dada!!" She runs to him. Killian scooped his daughter and spun her around. Leia laughs. Ian was awake.

"Hi, baby boy." She takes her son out of his crib.

"La-la."

Leia enters the room. "Hi, Ian!" Emma sets Ian down. Leia hugged her baby brother.

"Ian, tell Leia good luck." Ian babbles.

"Ian, we pway when I home."

Henry sees his two youngest siblings."Hi, Ian. Hi, Leia!"

"Henwy!" Leia and Ian hug their big brother. He hugged them back. He takes his sister downstiars.

Emma breastfed Ian. "Mama has to be with Leia at the hospital. You be a good boy for Nana and Henry." She rocked Ian back to sleep. She set her son in his crib. Killian made sure everything was packed for his daughter's surgery as Emma made sure everything was set for the rest of the kids. Henry was awake playing with his baby sister before she and their parent went to the hospital. "Swan, the rest of pirate crew are going to be okay here with your Mom."

"We do not know if we are staying there overnight."

"Our bags are packed in the bug,love. Your mom is going to be here with the rest of our pirates. Your parents are going to be here overnight if we need too." He held his hand. "Our duaghte is going to be okay after her surgery."

Henry was holding Leia when he answered the door to their Grandma."Nana!"

"Hi, Leia!" She holds her granddaughter. "Hi, Henry." She hugged her grandson.
