Ch.203 New York Comic Con 2021

The Swan-Jones family is in New York for Comic-Con. Henry got up so early to get ready, Hope was sleeping in the same bed as him. Ava was in her bed, across from them. He got dressed in his favorite DC shirt, with his ID badge. As their parents and Leia were in the other bedroom connected to their room. Emma was up early getting Leia's diaper bag packed for the day, Leia was still sound asleep on Killian after a rough plane ride the day before. Killian wakes up and hugs his swan. He kisses her neck to her head making her giggle."Good morning, my beautiful swan."
"Good morning, my handsome captain." They kiss.
"Are you excited for comic con?"
"Yes, I am. I already hear Henry getting ready in the next room."
"Aye, I am not the only one happy Hope is in the room with the couple."
"I do not want them to be alone, in the same room. Hope can keep them separate."
Killian laughs. "My smart, sneaky wife." Leia began crying.
"Someone is waking up." She goes to her daughter in her doc-a -tot. "Good morning, Leia." She scooped her daughter in her arms and kissed her on her brunette head. Leia gurgles. "Yes, we are in a hotel in New York City today. We are going to comic con today." Leia wanted to breastfeed. "Sweetie." She sets herself on the bed and lets Leia breastfeed.
He gives his swan her breakfast so she can eat while Leia ate. They heard Hope awake in the adjoining room, "Swan, I am going to get Hope ready for the day."
"And snoop on our son and his girlfriend?"
"Maybe."
Emma chuckles. "Leia, your Dada and Mommy think the same." She kisses Leia on the head.
A few minutes later, Killian carried Hope to the room. "Hi, Mommy!"
"Hi, Hope! Are you excited for comic con?"
"Yes!" Killian helps Hope get ready for the day and changed her into her Ariel dress costume.
"Mommy, can you do my hair?"
"Yes, after I change Leia into her onesie, I will do your hair." She changed Leia into a BB-8 onesie. "You are so cute!" She tickles Leia's tummy. "Leia, you are ready for your first comic con." She takes a photo of Leia in her onesie and puts a coat on her daughter. Leia was cooing. "Hopey, your turn to get your hair done." Hope joined her Mommy and sister on the bed. Killian held Leia in his arms. "Hopey, what hairstyle do you want? Ponytail?"
"No."
"Braid."
"No."
"Fishtail braid?"
"Yes! Pwease."
"One fishtail for my little duckling." She kisses Hope multiple times on the cheek making her daughter smile. She braids Hope's hair. "Here you go, Hope. Now, you have mermaid tail hair."
"Yay!" They get ready to leave, "Mommy not going."
"Hope, why?"
"No!!" Hope began crying and went behind the bed. "Not going!"
Emma sighs her daughter's toddler tantrum. She looks at her husband. "Hope and I will meet you at the Javits Center."
"Aye, love." He gets the diaper bag from his swan. Killian went to the adjoining room with Leia. "Son, we are going ahead. Hope is in a bad mood."
Henry went to his baby sister. "Baby sis, on the way to comic con, I can give you and Ava a tour of Manhattan." He holds his baby sister in his arms. Leia coos.
"I thought you gave Ava a tour last night?"
"I did. Not the whole city. It is also Leia's first time in Manhattan."
Ava looks at the baby. "Leia, Henry is a good tour guide. He will give us a tour and have fun in comic con." Killian followed the young couple and his youngest lass out of the hotel room.
Emma watched Hope have her tantrum for a few more minutes trying to figure out why, her daughter was so upset. She kneeled down to be at her daughter's level. "Hope, why are you crying? You can tell me, sweetie."
"Awiel not wemember you."
Emma was in awe."Why would Ariel not remember me?"
"Because not weawing Awiel shirt."
"She won't recognize me without wearing an Ariel shirt?"
"Yes, Mommy. We always wear Awiel when we go to comic con together."
Emma smiles, her daughter wanted Jodi Benson to remember her. She was wearing a maternity shirt and did not pack a Disney shirt that fits her since having Leia. "Hope, I do not have an Ariel shirt to wear."
"She won't wemember you."
"I need to get an Ariel shirt. We need to go shopping at the Disney Store, so Ariel can remember me."
"Yay!" Hope smiles big making her Mommy smile. They left the hotel room.
As Killian, Henry and Ava were walking around the crowded convention center, fans in costumes came to take photos with Killian. Ava whispered to her boyfriend. "Why are they taking photos of your Dad?"
"Because they think Dad is wearing an awesome costume. They do not know it is his real clothes." Ava laughs.
Leia began wailing. "Enough photos, this pirate needs to tend to his little pirate." The fans walk away. "Little love, the fans are gone...shh...shh..." Leia gripped her Daddy's hook and stops crying. He kisses her on the head. "You are with Dada, little love not with fans."
"Baby sis no more, fans."
"She is overwhelmed by so many people."
"Aye, she is not used to being around so many people."
"She just wants to be with you, Killian."
"More like telling fans to stop taking photos of my Daddy.Right baby sis?" Leia looks at her big brother. "You are with our Daddy. I am going to show you comic con." Henry lead them to a panel.
Killian was sitting next to Ava and Henry in a panel interview with a comic book writer. He was holding sleeping Leia in his arms as his son and his girlfriend were listening in. He got a text from his swan, I figured out why our little pirate princess got into a tantrum. We will meet you at the Javits Center soon.
He smiles, he knew his swan can cheer up their daughter. That is brilliant, love. We are at a panel. We will meet up afterwards.
Emma walked with Hope to Times Square to the Disney Store. Hope walked ahead to look at the plush toys. She took photos of ideas of what to get both of her daughters for Christmas. "Mommy big Pooh bear!
"Yes, that is a very big pooh bear, sweetie." She kneels down to her daughter. "I do need your help to find an Ariel shirt."
"I help!" They go upstairs, to the adults section. Emma was looking at shirts, as Hope went to the baby section. She finds an Ariel shirt that she can wear and goes find Hope. "Hope!" She sighs in relief finding her daughter looking at clothes. "Hope, what are you looking at?"
"Baby sis, clothes!" She shows her onesies that she chose for Leia, Minnie and & Mickey, Ariel, and Belle onesies and shirts.
Emma was in awe. "You chose Leia outfits."
"Yes!"
Emma checks the sizes."We have to get bigger sizes for Leia."
"Okay! I still choose."
"I am getting the same outfits but in different sizes." She got the same three outfits but in bigger sizes and shows Hope. "Good sizes?"
"Yes, Mommy."
"How about we give this to Leia for Christmas? This can be a gift from you."
"Yes! Chwistmas gift. Can we get her a plushie?"
"We can get a little gift from the Disney store later. Mommy has to try her shirt on."
"Yes! I need to go potty."
"We are going to go potty." She takes Hope to the bathroom, as Hope was going potty Emma tried her shirt on. After Emma paid for the shirt and the baby clothes, she puts the baby clothes in her backpack. "We are going to surprise Leia on Christmas."
"Yay!" Hope hugs her Mommy. "Sowwy."
"Sorry for what?"
"At hotel woom, cwying."
"I accept your apology, baby girl." She hugs her daughter. "Next time, you can tell me about matching shirts. Okay?"
"Yes, Mommy."
"I am enjoying Mommy and Hope time."
"Shopping fun!"
"Yes, sweetie. Now, we have to find Dada, Henry, Leia, and Ava at comic con." They left the Disney Store and headed to Javits Center.
Ava was looking at posters and funko pops after the panel as Killian was holding Leia, Henry was telling fans not to take photos of his Dad; they were upsetting his baby sister. Emma and Hope found their family. "Killian, is everything okay with Leia?"
"Mom, Leia does not like fans taking pictures of Dad."
"She is taking after her Mommy." She rubs Leia's cheeks.
"Aye, she wants her Daddy all to herself. Right Leia?" She coos at her Daddy making her smile. Henry went to look at posters with his girlfriend. "Swan, I see you changed your outfit."
"Yes, I did, captain. Hope wanted Ariel to remember me if I wore an Ariel shirt."
"Aye, that is why Hope had a tantrum."
"Dada we went to the Disney store."
"Did you?"
"Yes, Mommy and Hope time shopping!"
"We had our girl time." Leia began crying. "Leia." She scooped her daughter in her arms. "Baby girl, you can join us on girl time soon. You were having your one on one time with Dada." She kisses her daughter's head. Leia coos. Henry and Ava return. "Where to next?"
"We can meet Ariel, Jodi Benson."
"Yes!!" Hope jumps up and down.
"Little sis, follow me." Hope holds her brother's hand as he leads his family to the autograph line to meet Jodi Benson.
Emma carried Leia in her arms. "How was our rainbow duckling at the panel?'
"She was napping most of the panel but gripping my hook the whole time."
Emma smiles. "She is your little pirate who loves her Daddy so much."
They waited in the long line to meet Jodi. "Dada, Awiel here?"
"Yes, little love." He holds her on his shoulders. "Do you see her?"
Hope sees Jodi Benson signing autographs. "Yes!!" Henry takes a photo of his sister sitting on their Dad's shoulders on his camera.
Emma looks at Ava. "Ava, what do you like about comic con so far?"
Ava smiles. "I have never been in a big place with so many people in my life."
"Comic-con and New York is a popular place for people to visit."
"I am having fun, I already for a few posters and funko pops to bring home."
"That is great."
"Henry and I met Harley Quinn's voice, Katana Collins. I got her autograph and selfie. She also signed Henry's poster."
"When we met her Mom, it was awesome meeting Harley Quinn's voice."
She smiles Ava is so much like her son. "I knew you would love this New York trip."
"Thank you for including me on this vacation." She hugs Emma.
"You are a part of our family. I know Henry is happier on this trip that you are here." Leia coos and moves around. "Yes, you are happy Ava is on your first vacation too."
Ava smiles at Leia. "This is our first vacation."
They were getting closer to Jodi Benson. "Dada, down pwease."
"Aye, little love." He puts her down on the floor. She holds his hook.
Emma was concerned about her husband's shoulders. "Are your shoulders sore?"
"No, love. I carried barrels heavier than Hope. I do not mind carrying our little pirate princess over my shoulders."
"Dada, come on to see Awiel." Hope tugs his hook.
"I am coming, little love. We are going to Ariel." Emma chuckles.
They approach Jodi Benson, who kneels down to face Hope. "Hi, Hope. You have gotten so big."
"Hi, Awiel!" Hope hugs Jodi. "Mommy awiel wemembers me." Henry took photos of Hope with Jodi.
"I see Hope."
"I love your dress, Hope."
"It is my favowite dwess!"
Jodi holds Hope as Killian and Henry took photos of Jodi talking with Hope. "Hi, Emma."
"Hi, Jodi."
"Mommy she wemembers you."
"Yes, Hope she does." She looked at Jodi. "Hope got upset this morning since I was not wearing an Ariel shirt. She was afraid that you won't remember me. So we went to the Disney Store before coming here so I can get another shirt."
"Aww. I remember you two." Henry takes a photo of Emma, Hope, and Jodi.
"Awiel, my baby sister Leia."
"Leia is your baby sister?"
"Yes!!"
Emma gives Jodi a closer look at Leia. "This is our littlest princess Leia."
"Hi, Leia. You are so cute." Emma lets Jodi hold her, she was smiling. Henry took photos of Leia being held by Jodi next to their Mom who was holding Hope. "Emma, your daughters are so cute."
"Thank you, Jodi." Leia coos.
"Baby sis, Jodi is holding you." Leia moves around.
"How is having two sisters?"
"They are both awesome."
Leia began crying. "Littlest love. I got Leia Jodi." Killian holds his daughter on his chest and bounces her up and down.
"I remember you too, Killian."
Killian smiles. "Aye, I do have my handsome good looks."
"I remember your pirate costume." Emma, Ava, and Henry laugh.
"Dat is Dada's outfit he wears evewyday."
"Oh really?"
"Yes." After Jodi autographed two posters, Ava took photos of Jodi with the whole family. She even got a selfie with the voice of Ariel herself. "Awiel love you singing voice."
"Thank you, Hope." She hugs Hope.
"Hope, we are going bye-bye."
"Aw man. Bye-bye, Awiel."
"Bye, Hope." She waved to Hope as Emma took her by the hand and the family walked away.
"Hope, Jodi remembered you, little sis."
"Yes, she did!" The family walked around the convention center. Hope sees a ball pit. "Balls!!" Hope runs to the square ball pit. Leia began crying.
"Killian, she is hungry."
"Aye, swan." Leia makes poop. "She needs a diaper change.
"Dada, pway."
"Killian, Leia, and I will be right back." Emma takes Leia to the nearest bathroom.
"Dad, Ava, and I are going to go to see other DC artists."
"Aye, lad. Have fun." Hope throws a ball at her Dad. "Little pirate. I am going to get you." He tickles Hope making her laugh.
Ava and Henry went to meet more artists, Jason O' Mara, the voice of Batman, and Jason Spisak, the Joker at the photo ops, together. "Batman and the Joker together!"
She smiles seeing her boyfriend happy.
Emma left the bathroom after changing Leia. She got a text from Ava to meet her at the photo ops. "Leia, I wonder who Ava and Henry are seeing. Should we go find out?" Leia coos. "I will take that as a yes." Emma finds Ava and Henry online. "Emma! Over here!"
"Hi, Ava."
"Mom,we are going to do a photo op with Jason O'mara and Jason Spisak!"
"Batman and the Joker! Awesome!"
"You can join Henry in the photo op."
"Ava, no. I cannot."
"You are a fan of them more than I am. I am only a fan of Harley Quinn. He tells me all the time how many times you and he watch DC movies with Batman and the Joker in them."
"Mom join me."
"I can hold Leia for you."
Emma smiles. "Okay, if you want me too, kid."
"Yes!" Ava takes Leia from Emma and switches spots with her. Henry hugs his Mom. When it was their turn, Henry approached the first, "I am a big fan of you both, Jason and Jason!!"
"My son and I watch your movies all the time!" They took photos with the two Jasons.
Ava was holding Leia. "Your Mommy and big brother are taking photos with the voice of Batman and the Joker. Your brother always tells me about Batman." Leia coos. "You too!" Ava smiles at Leia.
After the photo op, Emma smiles seeing Ava talking to Leia. "Ava..."
"Leia your Mommy is back."
"You can hold her if you want too."
Ava smiles."Leia is happy being held by me."
She takes the diaper bag from Ava."Let's go find Killian and Hope." Leia began crying.
"Baby sis, do you want to stay with me?" Henry scooped her into his arms.
They find Hope and Killian in the ball pit. "My little pirate are you drowning your Daddy in the ball pit?"
"Yes!" Emma chuckles. They went to meet Outlander cast, Claire, Caitriona Balfe and Jamie Fraser, Sam Heughan.
After a few more hours at Comic-Con, Henry and Ava got a lot of posters, funko pops and autographs. They went touring around Manhattan and out to eat.
They went to the new Harry Potter store in the Flat Iron district. As the family entered the Harry Potter Store, Emma was holding sleeping Leia in the carrier talking to all in, feeling like she was in Universal Studio, in Harry Potter World in New York. "Leia, we are in the world of Harry Potter."
They see the Eagle entrance of Dumbledore's office in the center of the store; which was the prop from the films. Henry approaches the rail. "Mom, this is the prop from the movie." He took pictures of his parents at the telephone booth, as Killian took pictures of Henry and Ava in the booth. Emma took photos of Henry and Killian trying on Hagrid's shoes.
"Swan, are the wands here are like the dagger?"
"Captain, it is nothing like the dagger. The dagger is in Storybrooke."
Killian rolled his eyes at his wife making her smile. "I know, love."
Ava looks at Killian."The wands in the wizarding world are different. The students buy their wands at Ollivander's shop there during their first year of Hogwarts. Part of their back to school supplies list."
"Aye, before they go to Hogwarts?"
"Yes."Ava showed Killian how the wands work in the wand section.
"Mom, it took us four years but I think we turned Dad into a Harry Potter fan."
Emma smiles. "I think you are right, kid." Hope tugs on her Mommy's hand. "Sweetie, where do you want to go?"
"Plush!"
Leia began crying. "Leia.." She sniffs her daughter. "You need a diaper change."
Henry faces Hope. "Little sis, we can look at the plushies."
"Okay, bwo!"
Emma took Leia to the bathroom to change her diaper. She looked at the props
Henry and Hope walked past the giant red London phone booth, and Hagrid's booth to the stuff animal section by the huge Dirigible tree there was, Dobby, Hedwig, mandrakes, unicorns, Buckbeak, Crookshanks, Scabbers, broomsticks, and more in barrels or shelves. "Dobby!" Henry gives Hope the Dobby doll. "Twoll!!"
Henry chuckles."Dobby is a house-elf."
"No, twoll, Henwy."
He sees a barrel of owls. "Look Hope, there is Hedwig."
"Owl! Whoo..." Henry laughs as his sister gets a Hedwig doll from the barrel. "Henwy, hold to Dobby."
Henry holds the Dobby doll so Hope can hold Hedwig. "Which one do you want?"
"Both."
"What doll should we get for baby sis?"
"Hedwig!"
"You two can share the dolls."
"Yes. Dada, Ava."
"Let's go find Daddy and Ava."Henry kept a close eye on his little sister as they went through the crowds, and finds Ava and their Dad at the wands section.
"Henry, I am getting a wand."
"Awesome!"
"Your lass is telling me all about wands."
"I am teaching your Dad and getting the right one."
"Dobby and Hedwig, Ava!"
"Wow, you found Dobby and Hedwig."
"Dobby is a cute twoll." Ava chuckles.
"Little love, do you want me to hold your Dobby and Hedwig dolls?"
"Yes, Hedwig. I want hold Dobby."
"He is half your size."
"Dobby!"
"You can hold Dobby, little love." Hope smiles.
Henry looks at his girlfriend, "She only saw parts of the Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets movies."
"I had a feeling, the movies are too long for toddlers." They looked at the different candy.
Emma changes Leia in the bathrooms and goes to the book section on the second level. She sees the prop from Chamber of Secrets, the tooth stabbed into Tom Riddle's diary. She took a picture and continue to explore the store. She goes to the dark arts section seeing a gigantic snake. Leia coos. "Yes, that is a very big snake, sweetie." They return upstairs and find Henry and Hope in the chocolate frog section, looking at the chocolate frogs, boxes of mixed jelly beans, and butterbeer bottles. Ava and Henry were explaining to Killian the different types of flavors, two, the good ones and the disgusting ones. "Who the bloody hell knows to want to add vomit and snot inside these tiny beans?"
Emma was chuckling at her husband's response. "Killian, it is for fun to eat the jelly beans. They are not magic beans that transport to another realm."
"Swan, it is vile."
"I have no idea, Dad, about the ingredients. I doubt they put real boogers and vomit in the jelly beans."
"Hope, I see you found the toy section."
"Yes, Dobby twoll!"
"That is so cool!"
"Leia has Hedwig! We can play together."
Emma smiles. "Leia is going to love her Hedwig doll."
"Fwog chocolate! Pwease."
"Let me read the label, little love." He reads the box of Harry Potter chocolate. "Swan, it is made from a peanut-free factory."
"That is great. Hope, you can have a chocolate frog form to bring home." Killian got a few package of peanut free frogs for his little love, who has a peanut allergy.
Henry and Ava went to check out robes as Killian, Emma, and Hope looked after each Hogwarts houses sweaters, winter wear, shirts, and journals. He finds a onesie section for Leia, "Swan, what house would be Leia in?"
Emma smiles seeing her husband looking at the onesies from their littlest pirate. "Henry is Ravenclaw, Hope, you and I are Gryffindor." She looks down at her sleeping daughter. "I think Leia is in Gryffindor just like the rest of us."
"Aye, I will get Leia a gryffindor onesie."
Emma looks at Hope. "Hope, do you want a shirt too?"
"Yes, Mommy."
"Swan, I got our littlest pirate." He takes Leia from his swan and holds her in her carrier. Hope held Mommy's hand and went to find a Gryffindor shirt her size. Emma and Killian walked with Hope to the butterbeer section, that had barrels around them.
"Swan, what is butterbeer?"
"It is a very sweet drink of caramel flavor soda drink."
"Can we try Mommy?"
"We can share one, sweetie."
Henry and Ava approached them. "Hope ,can try mine, Mom."Emma went online to get butterbeer for her and Killian to share. He gives his plastic mug to his little sister to try. Hope sips it, and made a disgusted face. "Yucky, Henwy."
Henry and Ava chuckle to Hoes reaction. "You do not like it?"
"No, yucky!" She gives him the cup back and goes to her Daddy. "Dada."
"Yes, little love. Do you like the butterbeer?"
"No, yucky!"
"Yucky?"
"Yes, vewy."
He gives his daughter a bottle of water to drink the taste away. "No more yucky taste?"
"Yes, dada." Hope hugs her daddy.
He holds her on his hip."Swan, you can have the butterbeer."
"Okay."
"Hope and I will go pay for the souvenirs."
"Okay." Emma smiles, from what Killian did not know she chose him a Christmas gift while shopping. She got her butterbeer and tries it. "Pretty good."
"I like it too, Mom. Hope did not like it." He laughs.
Ava looks at Emma."The look on her face trying the butterbeer was funny. Hope did not like it at all."
"Your sister does take after your Dad, kid. I like butterbeer. It is very sweet." Leia bean wailing. "Are you hungry?"
"Mom, I can bottlefeed Leia."
"Thank you, Henry." He takes his sister from their Mom. She goes through her diaper bag.
"Henry, I am going to pay for my stuff." Ava goes on the line.
Emma gives Henry a bottle of milk. He bottlefeed his baby sister. "Leia, is Mommy's milk good? Are you enjoying New York City?" Leia gripped her brother's shirt. He kisses her on the head.
Emma took a picture of her son and daughter on her iPhone. "She loves you, kid."
Henry smiles. "I love her. When I am home on break, we are going to have more Henry and Leia time." Leia fusses.
"She is full, kid." Emma gets a burp rag and burps Leia. "Are you having fun on this vacation?"
"Yes, I am. I am happy you invited Ava to join us. She is enjoying her first trip to New York. I am also having fun with my two sisters. I can watch them tonight if you and Dad want to go out tonight."
"I do not know, kid. I am tired. I will talk to your Dad." She puts Leia back in her carrier. They go find Killian, Hope, and Ava. Ava bought her own souvenirs. Henry hold her bags and his family bags, Hope was crying.
Killian brings Hope to his swan. "Swan, someone is very tired and needs her nap."
"No nap."
"We can snuggle in the hotel bed, and have Mommy and Hope time. I need a nap too, sweetie." Leia coos. "You can join us, baby duckling." They left the Harry Potter Store, Henry and Ava walked ahead of his parents who were carrying his sleeping sisters. Emma and Killian were smiling at each other. "Are you having fun, Swan?"
"Yes, I am. I am enjoying family time in New York City. You?"
"Aye, I am. I love being with my swan and our family. Our little loves are exhausted from a very early and long busy day in New York."
"Yes, now we can go to the hotel to relax."
"The lad told me that he can watch the girls tonight."
"He told me the same. We have not gone out just the two of us before Leia has been born."
"Aye, that is why we need a night out." They return to the hotel. Killian laid Leia in her doc a tot as Emma laid Hope next to her sister on the bed. She takes a shower and changed into comfy clothes and laid down next to her daughters.
Killian laid Hope's new dobby doll on the bed in the joint room next door. "Dad, Ava, and I are going out now. Text me if you and Mom are going out tonight."
"We can watch Hope and Leia for you and Emma."
"We know you need a kid-free night out."
"Aye, I will let you know, lad." They leave.
A few hours later, Emma was getting ready to leave as she was pumping milk for Leia. Killian was giving Hope a bubble bath in the other room. She made Hope mac and cheese in the microwave for dinner before she had her bath. Leia wakes up from her slumber, hungry. Emma got her daughter from her doc-a-tot. "Hi, little rainbow duckling. Did you have a good rest?" She kisses her on the head. Leia smiles. "You had a very good restful nap because you had a fun busy day." She breastfed Leia on her free breast while pumping the other. Hope returns to the other bedroom in her pajamas. "Hope, you are wearing your Ariel pajamas?"
"Yes!" She climbs onto the bed. "What is that?"
"It is a breast pump, it helps me get milk out so Leia can eat from her bottle."
"Oh, but she is eating from you."
"Yes, she is. This is for when at night, Dada can bottlefeed her while I am sleeping."
"Oh!"
Emma burps her daughter. Killian enters the room. "Swan, I can give Leia a bath, before we leave."
"Okay, I will get her undressed. She is already fed." She finished pumping and undresses Lwia. "Leia, you are going to get a bubble bath." Killian gives Leia her bubble bath but holding her. Emma helped him bathe Leia, who was gurgling away. "You love the warm water, baby pirate."
"She loves the water just like her Daddy."
"Aye, she loves the water." Killian cleaned the bathroom as Emma dries Leia off and does her after-bath routine on the bed.
"You are nice and warm in your pajamas." Leia coos. "You are happy that you had a nice warm bubble bath." Leia gripped her Mommy's finger. She kissed her daughter's little hand. Hope joins them on the bed with her Pluto doll. She faces her two little ducklings. "You two are going to have a fun night with Henry and Ava."
"Pway wif Henwy!" Leia kicks her legs in excitement. Emma smiles at her daughters.
When Henry and Ava arrived, Hope greeted her brother first by hugging him. "Henwy!"
"Hi, little sis. Are you ready to have fun with me and Ava?"
"Yes!!" He tickles his sister to make her laugh. Emma comes out in a red dress.
Killian was holding Leia in his arms."Swan, you look beautiful."
"Thank you, my captain." They kiss.
"Lad, Leia is fed, bathed and changed."
"She will be asleep soon." Emma hugs her son. "Thank you for watching them."
"You are welcome, Mom. I want to spend time with my sisters. Ava and I know you need a kid free night." She kisses her sonon the head and faces her youngest. "Leia, be good girl for Henry and Ava." She kisses her on the head. Killian gave Leia to Ava. "Hope, be a good girl for Henry and Ava. Mommy and Dada will be back soon." Hope hugs her Mommy. "We are going to snuggle when I get back." She kisses daughter on the head.
"Hope, we are going to have fun tonight." Emma and Killian left the hotel and walked around the city. When their parents left, "Little sis. Do you want to watch a movie?"
"Movie night!" Henry takes Leia from his girlfriend. Ava turns so the television and finds a Disney Junior channel. "No, Ava, movie."
"You can try, ABC channel, there are lot of Christmas movies on now since it is getting close to December." Ava found Elf. "Perfect!" They snuggle don the bed with Hope in between them. Henry had sleeping Leia on his chest as they watched the movie.
Killian and Emma walked downtown. They went to an Italian restaurant, Pasta Eater, which was on the lower west side of Manhattan. The restaurant is known for making its own pastas from scratch. They ordered, Tagliere Italiano, the chef's selection of cold cuts and cheeses.
for their appetizer. When their appetizer came it was a tray of mix Italian meats, cheeses, olives, and crackers, "Swan, they have prosciutto!"
Emma smiles at her husband's reaction. "I have never seen you so excited for deli meats before captain." She takes a bite of her brie cheese.
"Aye, I love meat." Emma chuckles. He ordered, Troccoli All'astic, traditional Troccoli pasta with lobster in tomato sauce. She ordered, Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, gnocchi with tomato sauce, smoked mozzarella, and fresh basil. "How does it feel being away from our littlest lass?"
"It feels good being out...I mean besides taking the girls out, and fighting a villain or helping someone in town. I do miss alone time with my pirate. I am happy to have a little break, with my husband."
"Aye, I am happy that I get my one on one time with my wife." He holds his swan's hands.
Emma smiles. "Are you looking forward to Christmas?"
"Yes, I am. I still want ot spend Christmas Eve on the Jolly Roger."
"I love that idea, just the five of us on our second home."
"Aye, we will open presents at home on land on Christmas day." Emma checks her iPhone, no text from Henry. "Swan, our son is watching his sisters. He has Ava help too."
"You are right. Henry will be home for a while, winter break is a long one."
"Aye, both of his sisters will be happy to have their big brother home."
"Also, Ava. She has been a big help when we need an extra hand."
"Ava is part of our family."
"I am wondering..."
"About what?"
"While Henry is on break, I was thinking we can take a family trip on the Jolly Roger."
"Oh, really?"
"Yes, I want Leia to experience her first time traveling through a realm on her Daddy's ship. I want to travel to a realm where we won't have to worry about snow. For a weekend."
Killian smiles. "Aye, I think the Enchanted Forest will be a good spot for us to spend time away from winter."
Their main courses arrived and they both enjoyed their fresh pasta made from scratch. The couple walked back uptown Manhattan after their delicious dinner, Emma felt safe in Killian's arms wrapped around her. "We need to have more walks like this often."
"Aye, in the city of nouse, gas fumes and screams of angry taxi drivers." Emma chuckles. "I would walk anywhere with my beautiful wife." He kisses her on the head.
"We need more alone time captain."
"I could not agree with you more on that, swan." They kiss in the middle of Times Square and enjoy the rest of the weekend in New York City with their children.
