Ch.209 Snow Day

Emma has been visiting Ava when she has been recovering at home, she likes being a mother figure to her. She knows what is like to not having a mother in her life in foster care and past few years. Sometimes she brings the girls with her who stay with her or stay downstairs with Mike. Killian did not mind being helping out with Ava driving over to the Zimmerman's house dropping off what Ava needs and talking to Mike. He also enjoyed Emma spending time with Ava, who is being there for her son's girlfriend and being a mother figure to her. They also bring food over. Allison has also been dropping to check up on Ava. Even Regina dropped by to being food for the family. At first, Mike did not trust her, and he had to call Emma to come over to make sure Regina was not playing a trick on them. She even hired her cleaning lady to help clean up the house. Henry and Ava has Faceitmig each other every day more than usual. Henry hates begging away while his girlfriend was in recovery from surgery but is happy that his family are there for her when he is not there.

It was a Friday morning, it was a snow day. Emma was up early with Leia snuggling on her chest as she was watching the snow. She was wearing a pink long sleeve with a ruffle bottom. "Leia, it is snowing outside, baby girl. The snow is so pretty falling." Leia coos. She kisses her daughter on the head. "That means Mommy and Dada get to stay home and not go to work." Leia moves around. "Yes, you can snuggle with Mommy, little buttercup." She kisses her daughter on the head and continue watching the snowstorm from the window. Killian was shoveling the snow in front of the house as it snowed.

Hope wakes up seeding the snow and finds her Mommy in Leia's room bottle feeding her. "Mommy, snow!"

"Yes, it's snowing outside, baby girl."

"Pweschool?"

"No preschool today. It is a snow day!"

"Yay!" She jumps up and down.

"We get to watch movies and drink cinnamon cocoa."

"Cookies too?"

"Yes, we can bake cookies today!"

"Pway in snow?"

"Yes, when the snow lessens." After Emma burps Leia, she puts her down for her morning nap in her crib. She puts her duckling doll next to her daughter. "Sweet dreams Leia." She gets the baby monitor and goes downstairs, Killian was taking his snow boots off. "How is the snow?"

"Deep, love. I salted the steps and the path after I shoveled."

"Good, let's have breakfast." They entered the kitchen seeing Hope standing on a chair with the refrigerator door open. "Hope, what are you up to little duckling?"

"Owange juice, fwuit for bweakfast."

Emma smiles. "You can help me carry the fruit salad. I will carry the orange juice." She holds the fruit salad as Killian puts Hope off the chair. "Fwuit Dada."

"Aye, yes, fruit is yummy. Do you want eggs or pancakes with a fruit salad?"

"Pancakes, pwease!" She puts the fruit salad on the table.

"You can help me cook pancakes."

"I help!"

Emma poured the orange juice in the glasses. She smiles seeing Kilian helping Hope mix the batter. Her iPhone rings, it was Henry. She swipes her iPhone and sees her son. "Hey, kid." She sits on the seat.

"Hi, Mom. My morning classes are canceled because of the nor easter."

Hope climbed onto her Mommy's lap."Henwy!"

"Hi, little sis."

"Snow day! Dada making pancakes."

"Awesome!"
