Ch.247 A Day Old

The first night with Ian for Emma and Killian was long but enjoyable. She used her light magic to prevent her daughters and son, from hearing Ian cry during the night. Emma loves breastfeeding Ian who has been eating so much. She was exhausted and in so much pain but she loves her baby boy. "You are so cute, baby boy. Mama loves you so much." She is bonding with her son. "You are a good little eater, Ian. Yes, you are." She kissed her son on the head. She did not have this time with Henry but she is taking advantage with Ian. Her last baby. She loves all four of her ducklings.

Even with home birth, Killian wants to make sure his swan gets the rest she needs. His wife is in a lot of pain and in recovery. He was tending to the girls when they wake up at night so Emma can focus on their newborn son and getting the sleep that she very needs. He also tends to Ian when he needed his diaper changed so Emma can get more sleep.

Killian returns to his bedroom. "How is our son?"

"He loves eating. How is our rainbow duckling?"

"Gripping me and did not want me to leave."

"She wants to make sure she is daddy's little girl."

"Aye, she still is Daddy's little lass." He sits next to his swan and fluffed her pillow. "Are you hungry?"

"I am good with water." She yawns. He wrapped his arm around his wife and son. "I cannot stop looking at him."

"Neither can I."

"He looks a lot like his Daddy."

Killian burps his son. "Ian, you are going to snuggle with Dada. Your Mama needs to sleep." Ian made a whimper sound.

Emma gives her son her finger which he gripped. "Mama is right here, Ian." Her son stops crying.

Killian smiles, "Our son does not want his Mama to leave."

"Mama is going to sleep right next to you and dada."

"Rest, love. I have our son." Emma drifts off to sleep. He kissed his swan on the head.

Ian makes poop and began crying. He takes Ian to his nursery and changed his diaper. "There you go, little lad. You are all clean." He gave his son a tour of his bedroom.

When Ian needed another feeding, Killian bottled fed his son, letting his wife sleep.

In the morning, Killian was up warly, he was answering the door for people bringing baby gifts and meals for them to eat. He placed a sign ont he door, "Knock on the door please. Do not rung the bell, sleeping Mom and newborn baby."

Upstairs, Emma had Ian lying on her chest. She wakes up finding Hope and Leia sleeping in the bed and Henry. She smiles. "Ian, your brother and sisters are sleeping with us. You are in your first family sleepover." Ian coos. She kissed her son on the head. "You are staying with Mama."

Killian returns to his room to his swan who was awake. "Morning, love. Hi, Ian." He kissed his son on the head.

"We need a bigger bed."

"Love, they wanted to join."

"I do not mind." She yawns.

Killian wrapped his arm around his swan. "Are you hungry? People from all over town are bringing in cooked meals."
"I just need more sleep. This little guy loves to eat. He was eating all night. I ate so much snacks you brought up. Thank you for the snacks."

"You are welcome, love. Now it is my turn to watch the little lad." He holds his newborn son in his arms.. "Ian, you are going to cook breakfast with Dada." Emma smiles,she loves the Daddy and son duo already. She went back to bed.
