Happy Beginning Captain Swan

Emma's Birthday

It was October 22nd, Emma's birthday. She was sleeping in her bed with her daughters and her youngest son. Henry and Killian were downstairs in the living room setting up presents. Ian crawls onto his Mama. "Mama!"

Emma wakes up smiling at her 1-year-old son. "Hi, baby boy. You are so cute in footy pajamas." She kissed her son on the cheek.

Hope wakes up. "Happy birthday Mommy!!" She hugged her Mommy.

"Thank you, baby girl." She hugged her daughter.

"Leia still sleeping."

"We need to let her sleep, sweetie." She carried her 1 year old son down as Hope lead the way downstairs. She ends up in the living room.

Henry runs to hug his Mom. "Happy birthday, Mom!" He hugged his Mom.

Emma chuckles. "Thank you, kid."

"Eleven years ago today, I found you."

"Yes, you did. You brought me home and made me a Mon." She hugged her son. Ian babbles. Henry takes his baby brother.

"Happy birthday, my beautiful wife."

"Thank you, my captain." They kiss.

"What do you want to have for breakfast, birthday love?"

"How about we go to Granny's for breakfast."

"Excellent idea."

"Mommy gift!" Hope gives her Mommy her gift first.

Emma opens her present from her daughter which was an Alice In Wonderland blue Vera Bradley bag. "I love my new bag!"

'You can use when we go out!"

"That is right! How did you know Alice in Wonderland was my favorite Disney film?"

"Henwy told me! We can watch the movie today!"

"Yes, we can! We can watch the movie after breakfast at Grannys! I am going to use this bag a lot. Maybe I can use it if we go on a weekend trip."

"Where?"

"Daddy and I have to talk about it." She hugged her daughter. "Thank you, Hope."

"You are welcome. I go to school after bweakfast?"

"Since you have been a good girl going to school. You have a day off."

"Yay!! Not miss your birthday!" She hugged her Mommy. Killian and Emma smile at each other, knowing Hope have been struggling with Leia's cancer and needed more family time. "I pick my outfit?"

"Yes."

"Yay!" Hope went upstairs.

"Swan, you were right, she is very happy to have an unexpected day off from school."

"I figured our oldest daughter needed more family time. She has been struggling with Leia's C-A-N-C-E-R diagnoses."

"Aye, I agree."

"Mom, I am free until the afternoon. I only have one online class today."

"We can have a fun family morning."

"Mama."

She turns around seeing her youngest son holding a painted of his handprints in mold. "Ian, did you make this for me?" She takes the ceramic from her son, "Thank you, baby boy." She holds her son. "I love my gift from my baby." Ian hugged his Mama.

"Mom, I am next!" Emma smiles, her sons are competing against each other for presents. He sets his brother down and retrieves his present for his Mom.
