Ch.208 Ducklings

The EMTs rushed Ava into the hospital, Henry was holding Ava's hand. Allison led the EMTs into the emergency room. "My stomach hurts."

Emma was at the other side. "Like a period cramp?"

"I don't know. I was having them as usual on time. This is more than my period cramps. More pain."

Emma held Ava's hand. "You are going to be okay, Ava."

Allison knows it is something more than period cramps maybe something in her ovaries or a cyst. "You are going to be okay, Ava." She looks at the nurses. "I need Dr.Claire." She goes to Mike. "I am going to be with Ava, with Dr.Claire. I will update you soon." She follows Ava.

Emma hugs her son. "She is going to be okay, kid." She looks at Mike. "Ava is going to be okay, Allison and Dr.Claire are the best doctors here." They went to the waiting room. She, Henry, Regina, Mike, and Nicky were all waiting in the waiting room to hear news of Ava. Killian took the girls home from Granny's.

Henry was crying into his Mom. "We only make out. We did not have sex. She is on the pill. I want to have a college degree and a job before having kids. Hope and Leia are my sisters, they are enough babies in the house."

Emma was relieved that her son and Ava are using protection. "That is good you both are using protection. She is going to be okay, Henry."

"I feel I did something to cause her pain and pass out." Emma hugs her son.

Regina faces her son. "You did nothing wrong."

"I might have. She is in pain."

Emma faces her son. "We are going to find out soon. I know Ava is going to be alright. You did nothing to cause her pain,kid."

Allison finds the group. "Mike."

He goes to her. "How is my daughter?" They all crowd Allison.

"Dr.Claire examined her, she has a twisted ovary with a cyst."

"Is she okay?"

"She is in surgery that will help her being in pain from the cyst. Also, her ovary will be untwisted and back to normal."

"How long will she be in recovery?"

"A few weeks."

Emma placed her hand on Mike's shoulder. "We are going to help Ava in recovery, Mike."

"Thank you, Emma."

She hugged her son. They continue to wait. "Aunt Allison, is it anything I did?"

"No, Henry. It just happens. Cyst comes and it is painful. Ovary twists on it's own, it happens."

Back at the Swan-Jones home, Hope and Melody were playing in her room. Killian brings down Leia in her pajamas. "Ariel, the two ocean princesses are having fun in Hope's room."

"We can stay here until Emma comes home. I know Melody is cheering up Hope."

"Aye, she is sad about Ava." He gets a phone call from his wife. "Swan."

"Hi. How are the girls?"

"Hope and Melody are playing in her bedroom. Leia is sleeping on me, love. How is Ava?"

"She is having surgery. She has a cyst and twisted ovary."

"Bloody hell."

"She is going to be in recovery for a while. I am going to help. Allison is going to help too."

"Aye, we are going to help her. How is Henry?"

"He is upset that his girlfriend needed surgery and he is leaving tomorrow. I am going to let him to stay here long as possible."
