Ch.219 Godparents

Once the town heard about the newborn ocean prince, everyone visited Ariel in her hospital room or dropped off baby supplies, precooked meals and gifts to their house on land. Killian was up early cooking breakfast in the kitchen, while Hope and Leia were watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse . Emma was up a little later, finding the girls playing in the living room with Killian in a fort. He was lying down on the carpet. "What is going on in here?"

"We made a fort."

"Daddy idea to pway in a fort. He and I made it. Leia walking awound the fort."

Emma smiles. "Looks like my three pirates are having fun." She kisses Hope on the cheek.

"Mama."

"Hi, sweetie." She kisses her daughter on the head.

"Love, I figured a fort will be more fun for Leia to walk around in not the gates that cover the whole living room." Leia walks to her Daddy and sat on his stomach. He groans, "Littlest pirate." Leia and Hope laugh. He tickles his daughters, smiling. She knew her husband was having fun with their daughters and took a photo on her iPhone.

Henry goes downstairs. "Hope, Leia, are you having all the fun with Dad without me?"

"Pway, Henwy!"

"I am in!" He joins his sisters in the fort.

Killian gets out of the fort. "Little loves, Daddy and Mommy will be back soon."

"Okay!" Hope hugs Henry.

"Have fun with your sisters, kid."

"I will!"

Emma and Killian went to the yellow bug. They went on patrol around town, which was quiet. She drove them to the hospital. They wanted to check on little Teddy, it has been a few days since the last time they visited him. Killian and Emma even have gifts for their godson. They find Ariel in the NICU doing skin-to-skin with her son on her chest. He had a feeding tube in his nose and a needle in his arm. She smiles hearing her son coo.

"How is the little lad?"

"He is doing pretty well. He was wailing after they took some blood. He just wanted to snuggle with his Momma. He is having surgery for his intestines today, which is why he has a needle in his arm. One of his many..." She began crying. "He is so tiny."

"He is going to get through this, Ariel."

"Even though he is tiny, he is strong on the inside." Teddy coos. He faces his godson."You are strong, Teddy just like your Mommy and your Daddy, little lad."

"We got him a little gift." She opens the bag for her and shows the bunny doll with a blue tee-shirt, I am a prince but I love the ocean.

"Emma, Killian.." She shows her son the doll, Teddy tried to smile. "He loves it. Your Uncle Killian and Auntie Emma got his bunny for you, Teddy."

"We have another gift for the little lad." He gives Ariel an anchor theme onesie with different color anchor navy, light blue, and gray patterns, with a matching hat, in premie size. Emma smiles seeing her husband smiling at their godson. Emma and Killian love being Teddy's godparents.

"Killian, this is so cute. Theodore, your godfather got you a sailor theme onesie."

Emma smiles big. "He is going to look so cute in the onesie."

"Yes. He is going to wear it later after his surgery."

"How is Melody? Being a big sister?"

"She loves Teddy. She wants to hold him. She loves talking to him. Eric is home with her. I went home a few days ago. I just cannot leave my little guy here for so long alone."
