Ch.283 Very Needed Date Night

Emma was with Leia in the hospital. Her daughter fell asleep after the needle was in her arm. She hugged her daughter who was sleeping in her arms. "Mama is right here,baby." She kissed her daughter on the head. She hates seeing her daughter in so much pain and discomfort. "I'm so sorry, baby girl. You are almost done."

Charming had baby Ian with him at the sheriff's station. Killian took Hope to school before he went on patrol. He parked the yellow bug and walked with his daughter. "Daddy, I want to be wif Leia."

"You are going to play with Leia after school."

"I have homework. I get it everyday. I want be there for her."

He faces his oldest daughter. "You are there for her, little love. When Mommy and I go on a date tonight, you are going to play with her. Your Nana and Gramps are going to be there with you."

"Where are you going to take Mommy out?"

He smiles at his daughter. "It is a surprise."

"I won't tell Mommy. I am not Nana who cannot keep a secret." Killian chuckles. They continue to walk.

Emma returns home with Leia who was very tired. "Are you hungry?"

"No."

"Do you want to snuggle in the living room?"

"Yes."

Emma sits on the couch with her daughter who was hugging her. Ava the dog joined them. "Hi, Ava."

"Ava!" Ava sits next to her owners knowing Leia was not feeling well.

In the evening, Killian drove Emma to their special spot. She was wearing a bright pink dress with her red leather jacket. He was wearing a black leather jacket with black jeans. Emma was lead by Killian as she was blindfolded. "Are we almost there?"

"Yes." He unblinds her eyes. "You can open your eyes."

Emma sees a candlelight dinner for two before sunset. "Killian? We are eating at our special spot?"

"Yes, we are."

She hugged her husband and kissed him on the cheek. "I love it." He pulled out her chair and pushed her in. "Thank you.

"You are welcome, love." He opened her tray, which contained lobster, potatoes, and corn on the cob.

Emma was impressed. "Killian, this looks delicious."

"I caught the lobster today."

"You did?" She gave her husband a look.

He knows his wife can spot liars. "I bought it in the stands. I cooked the potatoes and corn."

"Everything looks delicious." They began cracking their lobsters.

Charming and Snow White watched the little ones as their parents were on a date. Henry helped his sister with her homework. Charming was with Ian. Snow White was taking care of Leia who was very tired.

After Hope finished homework, they had dinner which Snow White prepped, chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. David made sure his grandson was eating his cut up food.

Hope was talking to her sister. Henry was talking to his Nana. Leia and Hope played in the living room as Snow White put Ian to bed. David and Henry were playing video games

Emma and Killian clinked their wine glasses. "To our family."

"Our family." They sipped their wine and watched the sunset.

"I love you, Emma."

"I love you, Killian." They kiss as the sun was setting behind them.
