Ch.224 Birthday Getaway

It was October 22nd, Emma's birthday. Killian was cooking breakfast for his wife as Hope and Leia in matching Disney pajamas, were playing in the living room area of Emma's former Boston, Massachusetts, apartment. Ava the dog was lying on the couch napping. Emma wanted to be with her whole family for her birthday weekend. She also wanted a break from Storybrooke. They took a road trip to Boston the day before so they can celebrate her birthday in Boston.

Emma wakes up getting a facetime call from her parents, she wore one of Killian's shirts to bed. She can hear Killian and the girls in the living room. She swipes her iPhone and sees her Dad. "Happy birthday, Emma. My princess."

She smiles. "Thank you, Dad."

Snow white appears, "Happy birthday, sweetheart."

"Thank you, Mom."

"How is Boston?"

"We got here yesterday afternoon. We went to the children's museum for the girls to play in after the long car ride here. They are playing in the living room. I can hear Killian cooking breakfast."

Snow, "What are your plans for your special day?"

"I am not sure yet."

Leo sees his sister. "Hi!"

"Hi, little bro."

"Happy birfday."

"Thank you, Leo." She continues to talk to her parents. Her Dad has taken over the sheriff's station with Mulan, for her and Killian since she is away for the weekend.

Henry finished his midterms and finished his homework before his Mom's birthday. He arrives at his Mom's apartment where he found her 9 years ago on this day on her birthday. His Mom was not alone this time. She has his Dad, Killian, and his two sisters. He uses his spare key to the apartment and enters. He sees his dad in the kitchen area. "Hi,Dad."

"Hi, son." The father and son hug. "How are you?"

"I am good. Midterms are over. I am free the whole weekend." Ava the dog approaches Henry and begs to be pet. "Hi, Ava." He holds the dog and pets her more.

"Henwy!!"

"Wy-wy!" Killian takes Ava the dog from his son. Hope and Leia ran to their brother and tackled him with hugs. He chuckles. "Hi, Hope. Hi, Leia." He hugs both of his sisters. "Dad, we need to do the balloons. I bought them."

"Aye, we also brought a banner."

Henry helps his Dad hand the banner up, Happy Birthday. He and is Dad blow the balloons.

"Are you ready to give Mommy her birthday presents?"

"Yes!!" Leia screams as a yes from her. Hope gets her presents.

Leia gripped onto her brother. "Baby sis, where is your present for Mommy?"

"Dada."

"Lad, I have your Mom's presents." Leia babbles. "Here you go, little love."

"Wy-wy!" Leia hugs his leg.

"Baby sis, I am not going anywhere."

"Up!"

Henry smiles as he holds his baby sister. "You can help me give Mommy her birthday gifts."

"Wy-wy!" She hugged her big brother.

"I want a hug fwom Henwy too."

Henry kneeled and hugged Hope. "Henwy. Pway."

"After we give Mommy her birthday gifts, we can play. You can help me give Mommy her gifts."
