Ch.220 Summer

Henry was spending time with Regina in her office. Charming was watching Hope and Leia while their parents were on patrol. Hope and melody were playing in the mud from the rain, in the backyard of the Swan-Jones house. Charming took photos of his granddaughter and her best friend. Leia was watching them and putting her hands in the mud. "Baby sis, splash!!" Hope shows her sister how to splash. Leia copied her big sister.

Charming smiles, his granddaughters are playing and getting dirty just like he did growing up on the farm. He brought toy shovels for the girls can dig. He helped Leia dig in the mud. Leia babbles. Melody and Hope were splashing each other with the mud.

"Hope, Melody, no mud in the eyes."

"Yes, Gwamps." Melody splashes Charming with mud. He gives Melody a shock look, and splashes her back making the toddlers laugh.

Ariel and Snow White were talking about parenting to baby boys as they were walking to the Swan Jones residents. Snow White rings the bell. "You do not have a key?"
"No. Before Zelena switched bodies with me, I got my key taken away."

"How?"

"I kind of used my key and entered my daughter's house while she and Killian were making pancakes."

"Pancakes?"

"Close to having sex in their kitchen counter." Ariel giggles.

Charming answers the door, "Hi, Ariel. Hi, Snow."

"Hi, Charming. How was handling two toddlers and a 9-month-old?"

"They had fun. About..."

Melody runs to her Mommy covered in mud. "Momma!"

Hope catches up to her best friend."Melody, you are covered in mud."

"Awiel, we pwayed in the mud."

"Yes, it was fun Momma! Messy is fun!"

Ariel smiles. "You need a bubble bath, little mermaid."

"Can we see Teddy?"

"Yes, after your bubble bath then we go see Teddy."

Melody hugs Hope. "Bye, Hope."

"Bye,Mel-Mel. I had fun."

"Me too! Pway again."

"Yes!" Snow White, Ariel, and Charming smile at the toddlers.

"Melody, you need a bubble bath."

"Then see Teddy?"

"Yes, little mermaid."

"Bye Ariel."

"Bye, Snow and Charming." Ariel and Melody went home. Hope went upstairs and hides, tracking mud in the house.

"Emma and Killian are not going to like seeing the mud trail when they arrive home."

"I can change Leia since she is not covered as Hope." Leia babbles.

They went upstairs, Snow White changes Leia outfit and cleans her up. Charming finds Hope crying in the bathroom. "Hope."

"Gwamps, I want Mommy. Mommy."

He faces his granddaughter."Are you afraid Grandma is here?"

She sniffles. "Yes."

"Grandma is with Leia in her room changing her into a new outfit. After your bubble bath, you, Leia, and me are going to go to the sheriff's station to play."

"Just us thwee?"
"Yes, little princess." Hope smiles and hugs his grandpa. He smiles his granddaughter has a close bond with him.

After Charming gives Hope a bubble bath, Hope and Leia played in Leia's bedroom while their grandparents cleaned up the mud tracks around the house. He puts Leia in the stroller, packed lunch boxes in the diaper bag and walked to town with Hope.
