42. Drunk.

They let go and both of them start laughing. Clem rests his head on Arthur's shoulder, laughing and he leans forward.

“Mate!” Shouts James and Clem look up at Arthur.

"Oh they are terrible." He laughs and pulls Arthur into a hug.

Arthur hugs him back and takes some deep breaths to stop laughing.

"Are you okay?'' Asks Clem and Arthur smiles and nods.

"I am, you?'' Clem nods and ruffles his hair before letting go if Arthur and run towards James.

Literally runs, bumping into other people like they are not even there.

"What was that?" Asks Jak while he laughs.

"No idea, I didn't even know what happened when we kissed." Says Arthur, and he starts to feel the alcohol taking effect on his body.

He starts to feel floaty, and he's really warm, and his vision becomes blurrier.

Dennis his hoodie is still in his hand, and he ties it around his waist.

"I didn't know you swing that way." Says Jak while taking a sip of his beer.

"I don't. We were just joking I guess. Not really anything behind it." Says Arthur and Jak nods.

"Nah I saw that too. Pepe and James were shouting at you guys to kiss." Says Jak

"Yeah."

"It's Clem, you know, he probably forgot this happened already."

"I'm not bothered by it, Jak. It was a joke and I know Clem means nothing behind it, neither do I." Says Arthur.

"I told you going out with Clem is wild." Says Jak and they laugh.

"You didn't lie." Says Arthur.

"SHOTS!" Screams someone and James gives both of them a glass with a shot in it in their hands.

“Cheers mate.” Says Jak as they toast their glasses and Arthur puts the glass to his lips and pushes his head back and lets the alcohol slide down his throat.

"Want a beer too?" Asks Jak and shakes his empty glass.

"I don't know, I maybe had too much already." Says Arthur.

"There is never enough, the last one together?'' Asks Jak and Arthur smiles and Jak smiles too and leaves to get the drinks.

"Arthur!" Shouts Clem and Arthur goes towards him.

He is soon taken back into the group that has started dancing.

Jak hands him the cup of beer and Arthur takes a sip.

"Enjoying yourself?" He asks and Arthur nods.

"You?" He asks and Jak smiles and nods.

"It's fun getting to know you more. I know It's been a bit weird with Dennis and Ollie, but I didn't really have the chance to introduce myself." Says Jak.

"It is. Everything goes by with a blur lately." Says Arthur.

"Yeah?" Asks Jak and Arthur nods.

"The last few weeks good things happened and fucked up things. Like meeting Dennis and Alice in one week, I never thought I would find such a good friend, even though I don't really know if Dennis see me as a friend."

"He does. Dennis speaks a lot about you, man I get crazy sometimes." laughs Jak and puts an arm around Arthur's shoulder.

"I never saw Dennis like this, so you do something good. He needed a lot of time to warm up on me and Ollie, and with you, It's like he knew you when you were little." Says Jak, and Arthur smiles a bit.
