"All doors to Arrival"
Arthur stands up from his seat and goes behind the people who are in a row to leave the plane, and they go towards their gate.
When he steps out of the plane, he looks around him and smiles.
A lot has happened, good and bad things.
And now he's here, he had a flight from Nice to Brussels South Charleroi Airport after a fight with his Maman.
He's so stupid and, right now, he thinks about how this is maybe not a good move.
After he talked with his brothers and mother, things were going in the right direction.
They took time to listen to him and his side of the story. He told them what happened on Monday, and maybe a nasty move, but he wanted his mother to know how bad and scared he felt back then. He told them how he was texting with Dennis and then cleaned up and how he got that wound from glass.
He told them how school was after his dad died, and that after high school and he started to study, things were not getting better.
How his friends left him, and he has not much left. He told them that he had lied at the Moanco grand prix. On that Saturday night, he came back with a head wound. He told them that it wasn't friends, because he didn't have any back then, but that he got beaten up by two classmates, but he had a bit more drinks than normally and couldn't really stand up for himself.
He told them how he met Alice and how she's much stronger then he is. She helps him with everything and how he feels bad about him leaving school after the news, and she had to go through it.
Alice is the reason he still enjoys his school, otherwise he has no idea how he would continue this year. He had to, it is his dream, but that doesn't make it simple.
And then they asked about after papa died, and he told them.
He told them that he felt alone after them leaving for Charles his career and Maman going to friends all the time. His family didn't come around much anymore, and he was alone in that house. He helped with cooking and cleaning, and he didn't mind that. But it felt really weird as a kid to do that, because no one showed him how to do it. He watched YouTube video's how people were making that food.
But he wanted to help his mother, he wanted her to feel like she could get home because he would be there and help her.
He saw how his mother face broke, and she started crying in silence after his words. He told Lorenzo and Charles that he doesn't remind them of the calls all the time because it is a thing to annoy then with, he really needed them at those moments and how much it hurt him. It's not to rub it in their faces.
He called them all the time after being beaten up, they never picked up.
He showed them his schoolbook. You see the name Arthur Leclerc and under there, it was a big red cross. While all other pages were filled with pictures of his classmates or other students at his school and their family.
He was all alone, none of them cared to come while they all could.
Charles said he thought he was joking to make them feel bad, but it was the truth.
Arthur didn't want to hear sorry, because it doesn't feel good to hear that now, it's too late for a sorry and these are things he would never forgive them for.
Leaving a kid at 13, almost 14.
And now he's grown up, he understands it all, he didn't back then. Arthur knew they were grieving and that's why they didn't want to see him. He felt like he was the problem.
