56. Making progress.

"I said to you, I would be a better brother, and I will keep my word to that." Says Charles and Arthur smiles.

"Thank you." Says Arthur.

"So you are here, but I will tell them that they can't take pictures of you." Says Charles and Arthur nods.

"Are you going with me when the coffee is done?" Asks Lorenzo.

"I told Dennis that I would go to him before his Sprint race, and then I could come to you guys." Says Arthur and Lorenzo nods.

"We can watch the F2 Race together?" Asks Lorenzo and Arthur looks at him and a small smile comes on his face.

Lorenzo always left him alone when F2 were racing, because he didn't care.

Maybe they really are trying to bond up again.

"I would like that." Says Arthur, and Lorenzo smiles and nods.

Arthur feels Alice touching his arm, and he looks up to her, only to see the smile on her face and she winks.

"Carlos, can you explain to me how to make this delicious hot chocolate?" Asks Alice and she gives a Arthur's hand a squeeze before she stands up when Carlos told her that he will show her.

"So, how are you doing?" Asks Charles.

"I've been a bit busy lately. School is getting a lot but, I'm managing." Says Arthur

"And at home?"

"It went into the right direction. But we both know that we see each other a bit too much now and there is tensions getting up again so we take a bit more distance again. We eat together now at the table, and we watch movies sometimes. But I've been stressed about school too, so I'm not always in the good mood right now." Says Arthur.

"I don't want to fail school, and she's working more again. Well, trying to do that, and I see how tired she is getting, but when I'm saying that, she gets angry. Sometimes I'm still looking at what I can say and what not."

"Why is she working more again?" Asks Lorenzo

"She wants that and the hair salon give her the space she needs. But she wants it so bad to be more around people." Says Arthur. "And I understand that too. Her friend is coming over more again, so I'm looking out for that too, I don't want her to put shit into her head again. And Maman said she wouldn't listen to that anymore, and otherwise she would come to us but I don't know if she really would." Says Arthur.

"Melanie?" Asks Lorenzo and Arthur nods.

"Yeah. We had a small fight before I left for Spa. I messaged her yesterday to let her know I'm here with you two. That I needed space for a bit because we were both getting annoyed at each other, and it was better to calm down again."

"Was it all big fight?"

"No, I was studying, and she asked if I could grab something for her up in the cupboard. I said I would help, but I took to long. I first finished reading a line in the chapter I was reading. So she said she would do it herself. I explained myself but she said it was excuses. Anyway, I helped but she was mad, and I was trying to learn for my exam." Says Arthur.

"That's not nice. Does she know it is a big exam?" Asks Lorenzo

"I don't know." Says Arthur.

"Did you try to tell her?" Asks Lorenzo.

"We talked about it, when she asked how my school was. I told her that I had this exam coming, but I don't know if she remembers it with how big it was." Says Arthur.
