"I will go and pick him up." Says Charles.

"That's the most stupid thing to do." Says Lorenzo and rolls his eyes.

"But we know he's not going home, and we have no idea where his friend lives, so I need to." Says Charles.

"You know that this is the last thing Arthur wants. You going to his school." Says Lorenzo.

"You wouldn't go unnoticed." Says Maman and Charles looks at her.

"He's not replying to our messages or calls. So if he decides to ignore us, then I'm going to ignore his opinion." Says Charles. "And how bad it would be if those kids came out of school and wants to go home." He adds.

"Well everyone knows who you are, and one person has to see you and everyone knows." Says Lorenzo.

"I will put on a hoodie and sunglasses." Says Charles.

"You think that will work?" Asks Lorenzo.

"We will see." Says Charles and shrugs his shoulders.

"He's going with me if he wants or not." Says Charles.

"I don't think this is a good decision."

"Him ignoring us is not a good decision. If he wants it this way, then he can get it." Says Charles.

"Maybe he will go home. You don't know Charles." Says Maman.

"You really think so? He's done with us. We need to talk as a family and fix this." Says Charles.

"I know how much you want that, but we need to give him space too." Says Maman.

"No, not now. If he wants that after we talked, okay, then it is what it is. But first we need to talk."

"How late is his class done? I will pick him up, no one will recognize me." Says Maman.

"Like he will go with you. Sorry Maman, but I think you are the last person he wants to see right now." Says Charles.

"Yeah, maybe you are right." She says and Charles lays an hand on her shoulder.

"His class is done at 4 pm. That girl drove a red Kia. So I will look for that car and see if I can park close to it."

"You have more than one red Kia probably." Says Lorenzo.

"Then I hope to get the right one." Says Charles.

"It's a bad idea."

"I know it is, but I need to. We need to talk with Arthur, Lorenzo. And we are leaving tomorrow, so it needs to happen today." Says Charles.

"I guess." Says Lorenzo.

"He needs to hear the truth and that we are sorry. He told us the truth, and we didn't believe him. What happens after, lays in his hands. If he really decides that he doesn't want us anymore as a family, then it is his choice."

"No, I don't agree with that. I don't think it's about being a family or not. He wants his space." Says Lorenzo.

"Let's hear from him first." Says Charles.

"He's going to hate me." Says Maman and Charles looks at her.

"I can't lie to you and say you haven't done something horrible." Says Charles and she nods.

"I know."

"He has all right to be mad, at all three of us." Says Lorenzo.

"I really hope he can forgive me, and we can try again." Says Maman.
