"Maman." Whispers Lorenzo, and she looks at him with tears in her eyes.

"Tell us the truth, let us know what happened that night." He adds, and she grabs his hands that are lying on her lap.

"Was he drunk or were you?" He asks.

Charles sits down and looks at Lorenzo and his mother, who are looking into each other eyes.

"Melanie came over and we drank too much." She whispers and Charles feels his body sink into the couch.

He's looking at his mother, who couldn't stop the sob coming out of her, and Lorenzo, who's tense impression disappears.

"We talked about the weekend and how little I saw you guys. She asked where you guys were, and I said with Arthur. She told me that it's not fair of you two to only hang around with Arthur and not me as your mother." She took a deep breath and let go of Lorenzo's hands to wipe away the tears.

"I said that you three haven't spent that much time together, so that it was a good thing. Then she said you guys didn't love me." A sob leave her mouth, and she puts her hand on her face and she leans down on her legs.

Charles sits up at her words and for a second he had eye contact with Lorenzo.

Charles stands up and crouches down next to Lorenzo by his mother.

"You don't believe that, right? Maman, I love you so much." Says Lorenzo.

"Don't believe her." Says Charles

"Maybe it was because of the alcohol that I reacted so badly to that. But it came in like a bomb, and I started to question if you three even loved me." She says and she grabs both of her boys a hand.

"I love you so much, and the thought of you guys not wanting to spend time with me was so hard to understand, and I got angry. I thought I had to spend more time with you to make you love me again and Arthur took that time away from me that weekend." She says.

"That's not true." Whispers Charles.

"But tell your drunken mind that, Charles. And Melantie knew what is happening between me and Arthur for the last few years. I came to her after a bad talk with school again or when we had a fight. She told me that he keeps you two away from me with his act. That he makes me look like the bad guy."

"All the things you said about Arthur, are they true?" Asks Charles

"They are. I did not lie about that. I had lots of talks with school, he skipped or was trouble. And back home he was angry, and we had lots of fights. It has not always been fun in this house. I try, but I get so tired of trying." She whispers the last part.

Her eyes are red and she has bags under her eyes. She looked really tired.

"Arthur told us he was getting bullied... Is still getting bullied at his school I guess." Lorenzo takes a deep breath. "Ever since papa died, he said it wasn't fun, boys brought him into trouble and the next school was the same. Even now in University." He adds and Maman looks at him lightly in shock.

"What?"

"Some kids at his school bully him with his surname. I saw it back in Monaco, but he said it was nothing. Now someone had enough to prove to say he's my brother and the world knows now." Says Charles.

"He never told me." She says and Charles shook his head.

"We had a fight. I made a stupid mistake after that, and he was really angry at me. We got it out of him. He said we had no idea how shit school is, and then he just shut up, and he didn't said anything after that. I'm afraid we don't know what happened to him. I think the stuff that happened at school is the reason he changed so much." Says Charles.
