October 4

I stood in front of the mirror, trying on yet another dress, turning slightly to get a good look at my ass.

"Keh, my ass look fat in this?" I called out, still eyeing myself in the reflection.

Kehlani was sitting on the bed, about to roll up a blunt, not even bothering to look up.

"Girl, that shit always fat," she said casually, breaking up her weed. "If you liked plastic, I would've been gave it to you."

I chuckled and shook my head. Her gay ass never hesitates to remind me she'd fuck me in a heartbeat. It's all jokes, but she's dead serious at the same time.

I adjusted the dress, checking the neckline in the mirror.

"You don't think this is too revealing?" I asked, half hoping for her opinion.

Kehlani glanced up at me this time, raising an eyebrow. "He got you asking that shit?"

I sighed, rolling my eyes a little. "Everything isn't about him, Lani."

She licked the blunt, sealing it up, and gave me a look. "If you say so. Girl, wear that shit. Ain't like he gonna hit you in public."

I turned to her, my face immediately serious.

"Lani, that's not cool," I said, my voice firm.

She put her hands up, fake pouting. "I'm sorry, baby. Let me eat your pussy to say sorry."

She stood up and started walking towards me, and I couldn't help but laugh, pushing her back playfully.

"Get outta here," I giggled, shaking my head at her.

She smirked and lit the blunt, taking a slow drag. "Oh, and Rih coming."

I smacked my teeth, giving her a look. "Y'all better not start that fighting shit."

Kehlani took another hit and blew out the smoke, shaking her head. "That be her, I don't know why we can't just get along."

I smirked, sliding my earrings in. "Umm, probably because y'all keep fucking."

She laughed, lighting the blunt again and taking a long pull, ghosting the smoke before passing it to me. I took it, hitting it slowly, letting the smoke fill my lungs before exhaling.

"What time is it?"

Kehlani glanced down at her phone. "11:30."

My eyes widened. "Bitch, we have to hurry up!"

She shrugged, so laid back. "We have 30 minutes."

"Trigger isn't going to like if I'm not there when it opens." I could feel the anxiety creeping up.
