Bey was in a full-blown panic, trying to sit up, yanking at the IVs, and I could barely hold it together seeing her like that. Tears streamed down her face as she gasped for air, looking around like she was lost.

"I need to get Blue! Where's Blue?" she cried, trying to pull the IV out of her arm.

"Bey, stop, please," I tried, but she was too far gone, hyperventilating now.

Nurse Sarah was already by her side, speaking softly, but Beyoncé wasn't hearing any of it.

"Beyoncé," Sarah said gently but firmly, trying to keep her hands from ripping the IV out. "You need to calm down. You're going to hurt yourself, okay? We don't want that. Let us help you."

Beyoncé shook her head violently, her tear-filled eyes darting around the room, completely overwhelmed.

"I have to... I have to get my daughter," she cried again, her hands shaking as she fought to free herself.

I stepped closer, placing a hand on her shoulder, hoping she'd focus on me.

"Bey, listen, I'll call her for you, okay? I'll call Blue right now, but you need to stop, please. Let them help you."

For a second, she seemed to settle, but it was fleeting. She tried to push herself up again, the desperation in her movements gutting me.

"I need to get her," she sobbed, and before I could react, she nearly ripped out the IV again.

Sarah quickly stepped in, firmly but gently stopping her, holding her wrists. "No, Beyoncé, you can't get up right now. Please, you're safe here. We'll take care of you, and Solange is going to call Blue. You just need to rest." Her tone stayed calm, soothing, even though I could see the strain of the situation in her eyes.

Beyoncé's sobs shook her entire body, her breath still too fast. I rubbed her arm, my voice soft but desperate.

"I'm calling her now, okay? But you have to lie down, for me. Please." I hated seeing her like this-broken, scared.

I grabbed my phone, dialing Blue's number as fast as I could. It rang... and rang... no answer. "Come on, Blue, pick up," I muttered, redialing. Still nothing.

I felt the panic rising in me. Bey was still sitting there, tears streaming down her face, eyes darting around the room, barely holding it together. I needed Blue to answer.

The room felt too quiet with just me, Beyoncé, and Nurse Sarah. Bey sniffed, rubbing at her face.

"She heard y'all," she said suddenly, her voice shaky.

I frowned, not understanding. "What? What are you talking about?"

Beyoncé looked at me, eyes red and filled with pain. "We both heard you. So I know she did. I heard all of you."
