Waking up in a white void. Ok, this was obviously something someone created, because Fedorian was near certain she wasn't dead, and if this was heaven, well she'd rather be in hell, cause then there would be some interesting people there. Looking around, there was literally nothing but empty white nothingness in all directions.
"Ok, what the hell is going on? This is bullshit." She exclaimed, looking around as she began to walk.
After what felt like an eternity, or maybe it was just five minutes, there was nothing to keep track of the time, she had found all of Nothing.
"Ok, this isn't funny!" Fedorian shouted annoyed.
"It was never supposed to be." a calm voice spoke.
Turning around, Shepard Fedorian found a figure in a suit, standing with his arms behind his back.
"Who are you?" Fedorian demanded.
"I am an agent, sent to retrieve you." was the answer.
"So what was all that bullshit before! I was in an office, then I was in a war, then I was in the back of a cart, then I was in some box canyon with color coordinated teams. What was that all to do?!" Fedorian shouted, dropping any and all polite reasoning, and letting her anger, frustration and confusion out.
"They were measures to ensure that individuals with hostile intent to my employer did not want them to have you be captured." the agent pointed out.
"Who is trying to capture me?" Shepard asked.
"Individuals that seek to use you to harm my employer." the agent answered.
"Who is your employer?"
"Classified."
"Where am I? What is this place?"
"You are in the Mutually Agreed Tran-Reality Information eXsistance Server, located on the station that you docked at."
"I'm in the spirits damned Matrix? Get me out!" Shepard shouted.
"That can not be done. I do not have access to your body. Retrieval efforts have been delayed." the agent said.
Shepard looked at the agent.
"You're not here to help me." she was able to figure out.
"I am. This is for your protection, my employer wants you to be safe, and having you active would be harmful for your own good." The agent was calm, as he stepped forward.
Fedorian watched the agent approached. As a hand came up to grab her, Fedorian grabbed the arm and flipped the agent over her shoulder. As she did, she was grabbed by a second agent.
"That was not very wise of you to do." the new agent said.
Fedoian elbowed them in the face before kicking back. Getting some distance between the Agents and herself, she took her fighting stance, a gaian combat art, that she learned when she was in training.
Now she had to remember how the matrix worked while she was fighting. The pair rushed her. Blocking their strikes, countering with punches, jabs, and a few kicks, the agents were knocked back a few times, before a third agent appeared.
One of the rare times she was in the Matrix, she was told that a person could have, whatever they could think of when in a sandbox server.
"Let's see if this is a sandbox." Shepard told herself, before she had a knife materialize in her hand.
"Play time is over." She told the agents.
"You can not defeat us." The agents said in unison, as they began to split apart.
