Naturally, Eruhaben dropped the info as casually as possible and didn't elaborate.

Why would he?

This wasn't the first time Eruhaben from Side A wanted to strangle his counterpart. He started having serious doubts about his own personality, which was not the existential crisis he imagined he would have at the end of his life.

"How could it be weak?" he asked, stunned.

His eyes still hurt from the sudden flash of light that Cale's power produced. The burned ground and total destruction that reached them once the dust settled was met with silence. Some sparks buzzed, carrying remnants of the divine smite the young master delivered.

Funnily enough, Cale looked the most shocked out of the whole group of soldiers, with Choi Han keeping his calm completely.

"It was deemed weak, not that it was actually weak."

Eruhaben corrected his counterpart. Cale once told him the funny story of the elf who found the power but was too poor in the end to make proper use of it.

Shaking his head at the weird priorities Cale's ancient powers had, Eruhaben concluded that only Cale would be able to fully use them as he was on the same level of weird as them. He eyed the torched ground before switching his attention to Cale, who did a great job of avoiding the complicated gazes of Choi Jung Soo and Sui Khan.

"I see," Eruhaben said, not seeing at all but also too disturbed to ask. Not knowing how else to react, hesitantly he asked, "Where is the power now?"

Others looked interested as well. Some hid it better than others.

"Gone," was Eruhaben's short reply.

Disappointed grunts and defeated sighs lasted for a few seconds as nobles and fighters alike mourned the powerful ability. They hadn't seen how much it could actually do, yet seeing Cale partially wield it against the White Star in the Mogoru Capital, they naturally expected a lot of, well, firepower.

Another great power was lost that could have helped them tip the balance a bit.

As always, the screen was impartial to their plight, merrily continuing to display the battle that started with a bang and would definitely escalate more.

Valentino gazed at the angry-looking Duke Huten on the other side of the battlefield. He worried a lot. Duke Huten was smart and strong, a terrific combination. He may currently look more dumbfounded than menacing, however, Valentino doubted that anyone would be able to keep a calm expression after the young master rained literal hell onto them.

The dust took ages to truly settle with various small fires alongside the giant one Cale caused burning strong.

The previous powerful momentum of the Mogoru side has been incarnated and turned into ash.

Cale, who was the one wearing the brown robe and standing beside Rosalyn, heard Raon's astonished voice in his mind.

– Human! Didn't you say that you would only use a little bit of your power? Are you trying to collapse again?!

Deruth blanched at the destruction.

The reports he received and the words Cale delivered were vastly different from what he was currently witnessing. Cale just told him that he remained mostly behind the lines, which wasn't a lie, Deruth grudgingly concurred, yet his son never mentioned setting the literal battlefield on fire.

What if he collapsed again?

Violan worried as well, if not slightly less obvious than Deruth, who had turned as pale as Clopeh's hair color. Her dignified composure never left her. The only sign of her shock was the twitching of her left eyebrow. It wandered dangerously close to her hairline as Cale stood nonchalantly amid his people, merrily ignoring the shocked eyes directed toward him.
