Jude pov
We walk into the backyard and climb up the tree by my window. Once we were in I grabbed my pjs and changed in the closet. When I was done I walked out and laid down on my bed. Connor walked up beside me and said goodnight and kissed me then, he tucked me in like he wanted and left.
Connor pov
I was standing outside my house and I could hear my dad talking to someone one the phone. I couldn't really hear what he was talking about so I pressed my ear against the door:
I can't believe Connor ran away. He probably was with that little gay boy. When he comes back I gonna make it so he wished he never left.
I had no choice but to walk inside. It was late and I was tired.
A=Adam
A: so you decided to come home.?
C: Yea...I...um was trying to help Jude.
A: Connor come here.
I was super scared to walk over to my dad. Especially since I knew he was going to hit me but, I had no choice.
*SMACK*
I fell to the ground in pain. I can't believe my dad would hit me. He always abuses me and I let him.
A:Now, get the hell up stairs and don't leave that room anymore tonight.
I just ran upstairs trying not to cry but when I got inside my room, the tears flowed out of me like a water fountain.
(Morning)
I can't remember much after I was crying because I must've fallen asleep. Anyways I get up, get dressed, and walked out the front door without saying bye to my dad. He didn't deserve a bye after what he did. Once outside I headed towards Jude's house.
Jude pov
I wake up to the sound of Lena yelling at us. I walk out of my room to the bathroom and brush my teeth. At that very moment Mariana walks by and screams "MY JUDICORN IS BACK!!!" After that a huge wave of people come into the bathroom and hug me so tight.
L: Jude why would you run away?
M: Yea, I missed my judicorn.
C: don't do it again.
J: I didn't run away I was in my room all night and none of you bothered to look in there.
I had to come up with a believable story so I didn't have to tell them the real story.
B: I guess we never thought of checking your room. Sorry Jude, we didn't mean to blame you like that.
J: whatever.
I just left the bathroom and got dressed and headed out the door. I really didn't feel like getting a ride with Lena and everyone else. As I was walking someone grabbed me by my waist.
Connor pov
I was walking to Jude's house when I saw him on the other side of the street. I knew he wouldn't see me sneak up behind because he was looking at his phone. So I grabbed him by the waist and started talking to him.
C: Guess who.
J: Well, could it be my big dummy.
C: Did you sleep well?
J: yea, I was fine until Mariana and everyone else ambushed me.
After he said that he turned to look at me and saw my face.
J: What happened to you?
C: um...well...my dad slapped me and
J: Connor, why didn't you call me or something.
C: because I didn't want you to worry.
Jude didn't say anything else the whole way to school he didn't even let me hold his hand. Today was going to be a long day.
