Connor laid with Jude on his couch. His fingers running through Jude's hair repeatedly. The doorbell rang. Jude sat up so Connor could get up and answer it.

Jude laid back on the couch grabbing Connor's while Connor pulled open the door.

"Mom?" Jude slid down deeper into the couch at the mentioned of the word.

"Oh hey, is your dad here?" He shook his head. "Well do you mind if I wait inside for him?"

"That's not such a good idea."

"Why not?" Sandy crossed her arms.

"Well first of all, it's my house and I don't have to let you in and second, Jude's inside."

"Of course he is. You know, before Jude came along you never used to have an attitude."

"You mean before you left."

"He's just using you. When you become this big "so called" baseball player, he's the one who's gonna get recognition for it all. They always go for the player's lover."

"Jude doesn't have the same big ego you have."

"Just think about it. What has Jude ever done for you. I've never heard you say anything about Jude saying how much he appreciates you or all the gifts you given him." Sandy smirked at the look that appeared on her son's face. "Anyways, tell your dad I stopped by."

Sandy pulled herself from the young boy. He watch as she got into her car and drove away.

Connor returned back inside with a distressed look. He closed the door, making his boyfriend look at him.

"What'd she want?" Connor carried his body over to Jude.

"She told me she wanted to talk to my dad, but I think she's just being nosey." Connor sighed. "She also tried to get me to believe that you don't appreciate anything I do."

Jude placed his head on Connor's shoulder. "Good thing that's a lie."

"Well..." Connor trailed off.

"You do believe her." Jude lifted his head.

"Well not all the time, but I do think sometimes you don't appreciate me for things I've done for you."

"That's crazy, I've always appreciated everything you've done for me."

"See you're not appreciating this advice I'm giving you, instead your just complaining about it." Connor's voice started to rise.

"That's not advice." Jude stood up.

"It is so advice, you're just too self-centered to realize it." Connor stood up as well.

"Anything else?" Jude crossed his arms.

"Well for one, you're always complaining. Oh and you're bossy. It's either the Jude way or no way."

"Well how's this for the Jude way." He pulled Connor's hoodie off. "You can have your damn hoodie back, here's your stupid car keys, oh and we can't forgot about this." Jude pulled the 'C' necklace off his neck and placed it in Connor's hand. "Since obviously I don't appreciate it."

Jude pushed pass Connor, slamming the front door behind him. Connor stayed put trying to take everything that just happened in.

He clutched the three items in his hands. The keys to Jude's car jingled in his hands. The hoodie gave off a scent that smelt like Jude. Then finally there was the necklace. He gave it to Jude less than 48 hours ago, and didn't expect it to be left in his hands.

Stepping into his room, Connor tossed the hoodie and keys on the floor. He dropped his self down on his bed, laying on his back. He let the necklace dangle in front of his face.
