"Scoot over." Jude mumbled in his sleep.
"No." Connor spoke tiredly while he laid closely behind Jude with his arms wrapped tightly around him. He used his leg to trap Jude's legs and he pulled their bodies closer together. "I wanna snuggle."
"It's too early to snuggle."
"It's never too early to snuggle." Connor whispered into Jude's shoulder. The vibration of his voice gave Jude goosebumps and chills that shot through his body.
Connor rolled over on his back pulling Jude with him, so he laid on chest. Shortly before covering them both with the blanket.
"What would you do if we broke up?" Jude asked.
"Get back with my ex." Connor said without hesitation then tangled their fingers together.
"You'd get back with Daria?"
"If we broke up, you would become my ex. So, I'd be getting back together with you."
"Nice save." Jude stated tiredly into Connor's chest. Connor let his smile rise on his sleeping face. A knock at the door caused their morning snuggle to be cut short.
"Did you order room service?" Jude asked sitting up. Connor shook his head when there was another knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Jude said.
"Wait." Connor interrupted. "Put these on first." He tossed him his pants.
"I don't wanna. You answer it." He sat back on the bed while Connor rolled his eyes and opened the door.
"What do you want?" Connor demands.
"To say hi." His mom said.
"How'd you find me?"
"Your dad told me you were spending the weekend down here and I thought I'd come visit."
"You couldn't call me first?"
"I was just around the block and thought I stopped by to congratulate you."
"What do you mean?" Connor crossed his arms.
"Your dad told me what happened between you and Jude the other day. So, I just wanted to congratulate you and ask you what took you so long? What took so long to tell Jude he didn't matter to you anymore?"
"First of all, who told you that? And second that's not what I said. Plus, that's none of your business."
"I know, but this is an exciting time in your life. For the first time in almost six years you're not being tied down by that foster stray. You can start dating normally again, especially since your little gay experiment is over."
"It's not an experiment. He's the love of my life and when I said those things, that was me being a stupid ass. I'm always going to have him in my life and you're gonna have to learn to accept that." Connor huffed out in frustration. "Is that all you came here to say?"
"Yea, and I thought you guys might be hungry." Sandy handed him a takeout container in a bag then walked away.
Connor closed the door then returned to the room. He threw the food on the table then crawled back into the bed. "I swear no matter how far I travel she'll be right there to try and ruin my life."
