"Ready?" Connor asked Jude who was leaning over the bathroom mirror.

"Almost." Jude was attempting to put his contacts in. "It's not easy putting contacts in with one hand."

"Just wear these." Connor slid the glasses across the counter.

"No. They make me look like a nerd."

"You are a nerd."

"That doesn't mean I have to look like one."

"Then bring them with you. You can wear your glasses tonight then when we're leaving LA in the morning you can wear your contacts." Connor suggested. Jude huffed out air then snatched his glasses out of Connor's hand.

"See you look fine."

"Shut up." Jude hopped off the counter and headed for the car.

"Next time I won't compliment you." Connor trailed closely behind.

"So when were you going to tell me?" Jude asked from the passenger seat.

"Tell you what?" Connor replied turning onto the interstate.

"That I'm the one causing Callie's seizures."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Connor lied.

"I'm not stupid. I know that's why my moms asked you to take me to see Mariana."

"How'd you figure it out?"

"I was literally standing two feet away from you guys, but it's ok. I can could actually use a break from San Diego anyway."

"You're taking this better than I expected."

"Well how did you expect me act?"

"I don't know, I guess I expected you to cry, or possibly be mad."

"Well I'm not mad and I actually think I ran out of tears for the rest of my life to cry with so..."

"That's too bad, especially since I love sad Judicorn." Connor complained.

"You're just gonna have to find another Judicorn emotion to love because he's gone."

Connor's phone dinged with an another text message cutting the conversation short. He grabbed it, but before he could look down at Jude snatched it away.

"Hey!" Connor exclaimed.

"You can't text and drive. Besides it's just your mom asking you if you're going to come see her."

"Tell her maybe."

"Let me see your thumb."

"Why?"

"So I can unlock your phone." Jude explained. Connor turned the blinker on as he changed car lanes, then gave his hand to Jude.

"We wouldn't have this problem if you just added your fingerprint or knew the password." Connor stated while Jude unlocked his phone.

"I don't want to know your password or add my finger. That's too much work."

"For the record, you do my password."

"How could I possibly know your password?"

"Because it's your birthday." Connor truthfully spoke.

"You weren't suppose to tell me." Jude whined.

"Well now you know." Connor beamed.

Jude sat crisscrossing on the hotel bed reading his book. Connor ripped off his shirt then slid into the bed next to him. He concentrated his eyes on Jude's face.
