General Pov
Jude and Connor were out getting something to eat. It was Friday which means date night for the two lovebirds. They headed for the movies once they were done eating.
When they got to the movies, they saw the person they least expected. Bryce. Everywhere they went these days, Bryce was there.
"Are you two here to see the new fairy, princess movie?" Bryce asked.
Connor could feel Jude's hand shaking in his. He noticed Jude would shake or go pale when ever Bryce was around.
"No, that movie is only for douches like you."
Jude chuckled a little and Connor smiled. Bryce just glared.
"Whatever Stevens."
He started walking away.
"Oh and Jude, watch your back."
Jude's smile dropped and he looked down.
Connor Pov
I'm so sick of Bryce. I finally got Jude to smile and laugh for like the first time after his accident and he ruined it. I can't wait until we graduate. Then all the stupid will be out of our lifes.
I'm determined to make sure Jude has fun tonight. I promised myself I wouldn't ruin it again. He's going to smile and laugh his heart out tonight.
"Come on Judicorn, let Bryce do what he wants to do. He's not going to ruin our date night."
Jude's body relaxed and Connor felt relieved to see he was sort of getting through to him.
General Pov
8:30pm
The movie was over and Connor was driving them back to his place.
Connor unlocked his house door and pulled Jude in. Once inside, they walked up to Connor's room. Jude collapsed down onto Connor's bed and buried his face into the pillows. Connor laid down next to him and stared at the ceiling.
Jude Pov
I know what Connor has been doing. I know he wants me to smile, but I don't feel like it anymore. I'm just ready for Junior year to end and we're seniors.
"Hey, why don't we go to a party?" I asked.
"Are you sure? Last time we went bad things happened." He replied.
"It's fine. We can't just keep living in the past. Plus, it would make me smile."
"Then, what are we waiting for? Let's go."
He smiled and pulled me to his car. The whole way there, I swear Connor's smile got bigger by the minute.
Party Place
We walked up to the party. Connor stepped in while I stood there frozen. Flashbacks from the last party were going through my head.
"Jude. Are you okay?" Connor asked.
"Yeah... I just...um...realized I have a lot of homework to do and I should head back."
"You're still scared from the last time, aren't you?"
"If I was, would you be mad?" I said in a whisper.
"No, I just want you to be happy."
Connor pov
I told Jude I wasn't mad about not going to the party. In fact, I was super happy because I had a feeling I would go and mess up everything again.
We got back to my house around midnight. We ended up cuddling until Jude fell asleep. I picked him up and carried him to my bed. After that, I laid down next to him and fell asleep.
General Pov
Jude and Connor woke up the next morning to the sun shining through the window. They got up, ate breakfast, and snuggled on the couch watching Netflix. Around 2, Connor turned off the tv and turned to Jude.
"What's wrong?" Connor asked.
"Everyday before school, Bryce puts these notes inside my locker. The notes always say things like "you're worthless, you should go die, Connor just using you to make me jealous" and a lot of other things I rather not say."
"Why haven't you told me?"
"Because Bryce leaves notes saying "don't running to your boyfriend for every little thing can't you tell it makes him hate you even more" and a part of me believes him."
"Well don't then. You know I love you. I want you to know, the only reason he's doing that is because he jealous of you. I mean you're hot, funny, tall, amazing to be around, and have an awesome boyfriend."
"Stop trying to make me smile. It won't work anymore."
"Sorry, as your boyfriend I can't legally do that."
Without another word, Jude was pinned against the couch. Connor gave him one last look before he started tickling the life out of Jude. He heard the laugh and saw the smile he missed for so long.
Eventually, they were both laughing so much that they both fell off the couch. Connor was laying on the ground and Jude was sitting on top of him.
"I hate you." Jude said with a toothy smile.
"Oh admit, you love me."
"Never."
"Fine. I guess I'll just have to tickle you again."
Connor got up and chased Jude around the house while Jude screamed: "Connor, stop it!"
Eventually, Connor caught his and they both fell to the ground...again.
"Now will you admit it." connor asked with a smirk on his face.
"Yes. I Love you Connor."
"That's what I thought."
Connor leaned down and kissed Jude on the lips.
"I Love you too."
Connor Pov
I finally got Jude to smile. I feel pretty accomplished. We are now in my room studying. Jude's smiled hasn't left his face yet.
Now, for the whole Bryce thing. I gonna make sure he never messes with my Judicorn again.
"Whatcha thinking about?" Jude asked.
"Just about how accomplished I feel knowing I got you to smile."
"That's not fair, you tickled the life out of me."
"Yea but it worked. Now can I get a I love you kiss and hug?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
I scooted closer to Jude and made a pouty face and looked at him.
"Pretty please with a cherry on top?"
"Come on Jude, fight the cuteness." Jude said to himself.
I stared right into his eyes until I heard: "I give up."
He leaned in and kissed me. The kiss ended up being a ten minute make out session until I pulled away.
Jude smile at me. I looked into those big, beautiful brown eyes and said to him.
"I love that smile."
