It's 7am. Bright and early on this Friday morning. Bright and early on their Graduation Day. You would think they'd be more excited, but no. In less than six hours they would be up on that stage accepting their diplomas, but still, no excitement.

Connor rolled on his side, slamming his hand down on the alarm clock. The constant ringing stopped and the room returned to silent. It took him five minutes to get comfortable again, but it didn't last long. He felt something heavy pile on top of his back.

"Judicorn, get back on your side." He requested.

"I don't feel like it." Jude replied.

"What if I buy you pancakes?" Connor suggested moving slightly.

"You can't bribe me with food." Jude mumbled dangling his right leg off the bed.

"What about presents?"

"What kind of presents?" Jude opened one of his eyes.

"That's classified information unless you get off me." Connor said. Jude toppled over Connor and sat on the bed next to him.

"Now tell me." Jude said eagerly while shaking Connor's arm.

"Okay, okay." Connor sighed realizing it was time for him to wake up. He slowly pulled himself to a sitting position. "I got you a Graduation present, but you're not getting it until after we graduate."

"But that's a long time from now." Jude whined.

"It's not that long, and you can wait." Conn stated.

"No I can't. Please, I'll do anything." Jude made sad eyes and tugged on Connor's arm.

"Your adorable eyes can't help you this time."

"I guess I'll just spend the day being depressed."

"You can't be depressed on a day like this. I won't let you." Connor laid down then pulled Jude on top of him. He held Jude's hand and caressed his soft brown hair. "I could stay like this forever." His voice was calm and their breathing was in sync.

"But you can't, because today's a good day and you can't waste it in bed." Jude lifted his head from Connor's chest.

"As long as you're in bed with me, I don't care."

"As much as I hate to argue with that, I believe you promised me pancakes."

"And I remember you telling me you didn't want any." Connor reminded with a taunting tone. He raised an eyebrow and smirked.

"I didn't mean it. You know I'd never say no to pancakes." Jude had sad eyes again, but this time he looked deep into Connor's eyes. This initiated a small staring contest until Connor couldn't take the shiny brown eyes anymore.

"Get dressed and I'll take you out for pancakes."

"No, I want you to make them." Jude demands.

"You always want me to do things the hard way." Connor ran his hands up and down Jude's legs.

"Can I wear your Pikachu shirt?" Jude asked.

"I wanted to wear that shirt."

"But you wear it all the time. I just want to wear it this once."

"I'll race you for it. If you win you can wear it."

"Deal." Jude put his hand out and shook Connor's. Connor turned on his PlayStation, then returned to his spot. Jude grabbed the second controller then settled between his legs.

They played their car racing game with strong concentration. Jude was in the lead and that annoyed Connor. An idea popped into his head and he smiled. He raise his controller and held it in front of Jude's face.
