It's been a week since Jude left the hospital. He had been getting fewer text from Blake and everything else in his life started to slow down like he wanted.
He laid on his stomach texting Connor.
C: I'm still coming over tonight right?
J: idk. It was idea.
C: Good point. I'll be there at 8.
J: k see you at 8.
Jude glanced over at the clock. It read 6:45pm. He grabbed a book off his shelf then returned to his bed to read it. About 10 or so pages in, he had fallen asleep.
He was woken up by the sound of an alarm clock. He semi fixed his messy hair then headed downstairs to the kitchen. Stef and Lena were moving suitcases to the door. They stopped when Jude came in front of them.
"Hey hon. Stef and I are getting ready to head out." Jude nodded sitting down on the chair. He was about to say something else when he felt two arms wrap around his waist. He smiled knowing it was Connor.
"Are sure you're going to be alright?" Lena asked Jude.
"Yes, go on your trip and have the best two days of your lives."
"You're absolutely positive because we can cancel the trip."
"I'll be fine."
"Ok. We just don't want to come home and find you..." Stef was cut off by Jude.
"Find me what? Dead?" Jude took a deep breath. "It was one stupid mistake that happened a week ago. Between you guys and Connor I'm going to lose it. I'm lot a little kid ok. I learn from my mistakes but if you don't believe me, maybe I should go do it again." Jude pulled out of Connor's grip and ran upstairs, slamming his door closed.
"I'll go talk to him." Lena said before being stopped by Connor. "Can I go instead?" Lena looked towards Stef then nodded.
Connor opened Jude's door. He saw Jude lying on his back with a pillow over his face. Connor laid down next to him.
"You're right." Jude curious by what Connor meant, took the pillow off his face. "We have only been thinking about ourselves instead of you. Stef and Lena only care because they want their son to be safe and me? Well I only care about you because I don't wanna lose my soul mate. We have all been selfish, so we have all just decided to leave you alone. Bye Jude." Connor tried to get up and leave, but stopped when Jude said his name.
He turned around and was immediately pulled into a tight embrace. "Don't go." Connor wrapped his arms around Jude's waist. "Trust me, I won't."
The boys pulled apart when they heard the door creak. They turned to see Stef and Lena watching them.
"Moms." Jude wrapped them both in a hug. "I'm sorry. I know you guys just want me to be safe."
"Does that mean you want us to stay?" Stef asked.
"No. You guys haven't had time to yourselves since well, since forever. Now go and have fun. You don't have to worry about me, especially since Connor probably is gonna check on me 24/7. Even when you guys get back." They all laughed.
"Ok. See you in two days." Stef and Lena both gave Jude a kiss before heading out the door.
Jude turned back around and faced Connor. "Can we finish our hug now?" Jude asked. Connor smirked giving Jude a kiss before pulling him into a tight embrace.
"I love you." Jude said into Connor's shoulder. Connor kissed Jude's head.
"I love you too Judicorn."

It was 2 minutes before 11pm. Jude and Connor laid on Jude's bed snuggled up together. Jude's head laid gently on Connor's shoulder with his arm wrapped around Jude. They laid there, just talking.
"Did you really mean what you said earlier? About taking the pills again?" Jude pulled his head off of Connor's shoulder. Jude sighed and didn't talk. He just looked down.
"Jude..." Connor started.
"No. I just wish everyone would stop treating me like I'm a little kid. And I especially like it if everyone quit thinking I'm going to do it again. I get that you all care about me, but I wanna forget what happened. That won't ever happen if people keep looking at me like the mentally depressed, crazy kid."
"Ok. I'm sorry." Connor didn't really know what to say so he just sat there. Jude noticed his boyfriend's reaction and grabbed his hand. "Look, when I'm ready to talk about...you'll be the first person I talk to."
Jude wrapped his arms around Connor. "I trust you." Connor pulled back and kissed Jude. "I know."
"You know I love you right? Times a million?" Jude said.
"No I didn't know that. I thought you were only dating me so you could secretly hook up with my dad." Connor said sarcastically.
"Well actually...I have to tell you something." Jude said trying to keep a straight face. Connor opened his mouth in shock. "I'm kidding. I only have eyes and love for one Stevens family member."
Connor smirked at Jude. "Well, I'm about to make you love me a whole lot more." Connor leaned in and kissed Jude. They pulled apart then laid back down. Jude snuggled in closer into Connor's side.
"How are your fingers?" Jude looked down at them before speaking. "Better I guess. The doctor said if my fingers were to be smashed again they might have to chop them off."
"I can't hold your hand anymore if your fingers are gone." Jude laughed.
"Then you better not let anything happen to them." Connor grabbed Jude's hand.
"Trust me, no one is allowed near them but me." Jude laughed again. "Have you gotten anymore text from Blake?" Jude's smile dropped.
"Check for yourself." Connor reached over and grabbed Jude's phone. He went into Jude's messages to see a bunch of text from Blake.
"Heard you tried to kill yourself. Too bad your little boyfriend was there to save you."
"You should've drugged yourself harder."
"Maybe next time try using your mom's gun."
"Next time I see you will be the last."
"I honestly think Connor was better off being with Daria."
Connor couldn't read anymore. He pulled Jude closer to him.
"Jude he's an idi-" Jude cut him off.
"I know."
"You deserve a lot bet-" Jude cut him off again.
"I know."
"How are you handling this so well?" Connor finally got a full sentence in.
"It's actually pretty easy. Remember when you gave me my phone in the hospital? Minutes after you left Blake texted me. I tried to ignore it but it was hard at first. Finally after like a dozen text later I told him he doesn't scare me anymore. He texted back. The text said 'we'll see about that.' After that it was still kinda hard but eventually I realized he was just texting me things almost every bully I've had said." Jude paused. "It then became easy to just ignore him."
Connor gave Jude a kiss.
"You're the strongest and bravest person I've ever met."
"I get that from you."
Silence fell between the boys while they stared into each others eyes.
"I love you." Connor said.
"I love you too." Jude gave Connor a kiss before snuggling closer into his side and falling asleep.
