Jude woke up at 5:30am. It was a Monday morning. He groaned and laid back down and closed his eyes. He tried to go back to sleep, but that wasn't happening.
When he finally fell back asleep, it was 6:58. Two minutes later his alarm went off. He snoozed it and laid back down. He opened his eyes again to the sound of Lena yelling at him.
"Jude, It's 7:15! Get up before you're late to school!"
He heard the front door slam, which meant Stef and Lena had both left and he was on his own.
He jumped out of bed and got dressed. He ran downstairs and got some breakfast his moms left him. He ran back up the stairs and brushed his teeth. Grabbing his car keys and his phone, and he went to the front door. About to step out, he saw the rain pouring out of the sky. So, he ran back upstairs and got a jacket.
In his car, Jude tried turning on the car only to see his car out of gas. A note fell from the visor.
Jude, had to borrow your Car last night. I won't have the money for gas until tomorrow.

"Great." he thought. "I wish she could told me this earlier."
He glanced down at his watch. It was 7:25 and he was suppose to be to school by 7:30. He pulled out his phone in attempted to call Lena, but it was dead.
He gave one last look before he stepped outside in the cold California rain. He took off running as soon as his feet hit the ground. He was about halfway there, when he was stopped. Apparently, they were shooting a movie and he had to go around. And so of course, the other way around was the long way.
He finally made it to school by second period. The bell had just rung which meant he had to walk through hallway rush hour. He pushed open the door and everyone stared at him for a minute before heading off to class.
He stopped off at his locker before heading to Lena's office. He closed his locker not noticing his fingers. He slammed it closed and it smashed his fingers. He flinch at the pain.
"At least this time it wasn't me to smash your fingers."
He turned around and saw Connor standing there.
"Why so late?" he asked.
"I'd tell you but that requires me being more late."
He took off running down the hall to Lena's office.
"Jude, why are you so late and wet?"
"Car had no gas, had to run here."
"Ok here, now get to class before you're late."
Jude took the slip of paper from Lena and frowned. He then took off running again. He gave the teacher the note and sat next to Connor. The bell rang not even two seconds after him sitting down.
Jude got up. He was one of the last ones out.
"Jude can you stay for a minute?"
In his mind he let out a loud sigh but in reality he just walked over to the teacher's desk.
"Did you finish your assignment?"
