It is no denying that Aaravos has released more evil into our land. More than those creatures who escaped our grasp. I worry about my friends and family back in the Silvergrove. Will the beasts find them? Are they safe there?

Unfortunately there is no time to stop back at that home of mine. No, our one goal now is making it to our King.

Ezran had a lot to explain to us when we landed. Such as Aaravos' giant form, tied and bound in the valley by the water's edge. They, too, had to fight him. But not yet the dead beasts. I know that something much sinister is at play.

That's how we got to this moment here. Where Ezran has handed me a letter that was delivered just this morning from his brother. Corvus said that he will have a turn reading it after, yet Soren happily gazes over my shoulder to the sheet of paper in my grasp. It reads:

Dear Ezran,
A few days ago I started writing you a letter about how sorry I am that I hurt you. About how sad I am there there's a rift between us and about how certain I am that somehow we'll find a way to repair things.
But this is not that letter.
Because yesterday I found out that my worst fear has come true. Worst of all, I didn't believe (Y/n)'s word.

I pause for a moment, looking over to Ezran. He believed me that he needed to set up for Aaravos' threat. My King that I betrayed for the sake of my father. Yet my other close friends did not. I'm glad Callum and Rayla have somehow accepted the truth.

She tried warning us but we were too busy eating dessert. It was only when Astrid (one of the Celestial Elves) showed up in the Silvergrove, that we knew it to be true.
Aaravos is back. He's unleashed the spirit of the dead into the living world.

"We gathered as much," I voice my thoughts aloud. I can tell that Soren is reading the same part by the way his finger traces just under each line.

If (Y/n) found you, please express how sorry we all are. Now, if you yet don't have the information, here it is: The spirits can't survive in daylight but Aaravos has a plan for that. He wants to bring about eternal night. Luckily, Aaravos isn't the only one with a plan. We are going to work together in order to stop him. Aaravos needs the Sun Orb in Lux Aurea so he can corrupt the Sun itself.
So first, we're warning Queen Janai and Aunt Amaya. They'll have to protect the orb - at any cost. Astrid the Celestial Elf will take care of that.
Step two, we need another Collossal Pearl. I'm going to ask Archmage Akiyu to create a new one. Runaan will accompany me to the Tidepools. And then... we'll have to fight Aaravos face to face. For that we need big help.
So step three, we're gathering the Archdragons. Rayla will retrieve Domina Profundis from the ocean's depths. Ethari will find Rex Igneous from his lair in Umber Tor. And Zubeia... if she's well enough, is where I need help from your side. Please get the Dragon Queen and meet us in Lux Aurea. If the Archdragons can hold Aaravos down for just a few seconds, I can use ocean magic to imprison him in the new Pearl forever.
Best of luck,
Callum

"That's a long letter," Soren chuffs after finishing the final words.

"You see the issue?" Ezran wonders. He raises a hand in order to motion over to where Aaravos is tied. "We have already captured him. Callum would know this if he came back," he adds bitterly.

"We should still help him," Soren suggests. "They may be useful." They as in these great Archdragons. I want to comment that the great creatures may want no parts in our affaires, but the pessimistic thought would not be helpful. I guess these aren't truly our problems. Aaravos should concern the whole of Xadia by now.
