YN POV

"Alright!" I said as i prepared for my next client. My next client was LaMelo Ball. Former basketball that just came out of prison...for assault. I was told that he had a rough relationship with his dad so he lives with his grandma. His goal is to try to see if he can go back to the NBA. I'm not sure if he can but it would be nice to try. I want him to at least better himself. He comes in with his everyday clothes. White t shirt, sweats, and some jordans. "Good evening Melo." I smiled. "What's up beautiful?!" He smiles as he leans on his chair. "Melo.. I told you, i have a boyfriend." I sighed. "Your boyfriend is a bitch... no text messages..no flowers.. no visits. I hate that motherfucker..." He kept going. "I'm here to talk about you not my boyfriend." I rolled my eyes. "Alright, I'll cool off." We started our session and did some activities. Though he has his old ways sometimes, he's been improving. "Alright our time is over! You did great today!" I smiled. "I appreciate it mamas. You look sexy by the way." He eyes me. "Melo..have a good night.."  I ignored his comment. "I'll see you Monday." I said as I walked him out my office. "Thank you lord for a day well done." I grabbed my stuff and packed it in my bag. "YN? Can we talk?" I looked up seeing my boss. "Oh yeah what's up?" "Lamelo Ball has been improving because of you and for that i applaud you. But according to his grandma, his insurance policies have changed, so she has to move to a different therapy place that'll except him." She says. "Oh no! That's not fair!" I shrugged. "Yeah but Monday should be your last day with him. So you can say your last goodbyes and farewells. You know yall would look cute together... I mean in my opinion." She says as she starts walking out. I shook my head laughing. It was a shame that he was leaving but i can't do anything in my end. I drove home hoping my boyfriend is home with some food. I got out of my car feeling pretty exhausted. I had a long week and all i wanted to do was to hug my boyfriend and cuddle him all day.

I unlocked my door and seen my boyfriend. "Hey baby!" I greeted him at my door. "Hey Yn.. how was work?" He smiles. "It was long but i'm glad you're home." I sighed. "I ordered take out for you... I hope you like Lo Mein." He grins. "You know i like fried rice..." I looked at him. "Oh shit.. look uhm i got you next time." He says sitting next to me. "Uhm so my job offered me a huge promotion.... More money in Florida!" He says to me. "Wait you want to move to Florida?" I looked at him. "I mean it's just a thought you know. But it'll be huge! Listen..we've been together for 3 years... we've been dreaming on making more money like this for years now." He explains. "Well now i don't want more money. We're already rich... We gotta home. Our dream jobs.. We have enough." I looked at him. "I mean maybe you're right." He went quiet after. "I'll be in the shower ok? I'll see you in bed?" I said getting up. "Yeah.. mhm.." He mumbled without looking at me. I sighed. I went to take a shower and got ready for bed. I sat down next to my boyfriend. "How about we have a little fun?" I caress my boyfriend chin. "I'm not in the mood right now." He turns his body away from me and turns off the lamp. I rolled my eyes as I turned around away from him. The next morning, i didn't see him in bed. I called my best friend and told her everything! "I can't believe he would do that.. Maybe he just had a bad day at work.." Yasmine suggests. "I'm not sure plus he's been very distant. I'm not sure what to do." I sighed. "Just keep living your life. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding. But girl can you pick me up on Tuesday? My car broke down." She asks me. "Yeah i can but i also have to give my client his farewell gift."I hope you mean Melo? GIRL HE IS SO FINEEEEE!!! The whole family fine...except the dad.. But put me on Lonzo!" She excitedly said. "Girl no.. plus he gotta a girlfriend. But i'll talk to you later girl." I said as i hang up.

-Monday at night

After seeing my last client I went home and was expecting my boyfriend with food in his hands. But when i went inside I seen him holding his luggage's. "Where you going?" I chuckled. "I'm moving to Florida.." He says. I force. "Uhm what?" My smile fades away. "I'm breaking up with you YN. I made my decision." He continued. My heart stopped. What?? So you're just gonna leave like that? No explanation??" I had tears forming. "I'm sorry Yn.." Youre not sorry and you know what? Moving to Florida was just the cherry on the top. WHY ARE YOU LEAVING ME??" He then starts walking out. "WHATS THE PROBLEM???? AM I UGLY?? DID I SAY SOMETHING TO YOU?????" I kept yelling at him. He kept ignoring me. "WE CAN FIX THIS!!!" He then speeds off. I dropped to my knees and balled my eyes out. Did i lose my everything??

-Tuesday night

MELO POV

I was playing cards with my brothers at my grandma's front porch. We were smoking and chilling. "Yo you cheating Melo! You had more cards!" Lonzo yells as he gets up from his seat. "I AINT CHEAT FUCKERS!" I laughed back. But then a car pulls up. The three of us glanced from a distance. My brothers and I have encountered very tough people so we always strapped. But then the lady from my old therapist came out with a big basket of goods. "Lower your weapon...she's good folks." I whispered to my brothers. "Lamelo!! HEY!! It's so nice to see you!!" She hugs me. "Are you looking for my grandma? She's inside." I pointed to the door. "Oh no! I'm just here to drop off your gift from YN." She hands me the gift basket. "Wait what?" I looked at the gift basket. "YN? Why can't she just give it to me herself?" I asked her. "She's been recently been broken up with her long term partner and she's been very low ever since. She wanted to give you this for congratulating you for improving and wishing you the best in your therapy journey." She explained. "Low? Is she ok? Can i see her?" I asked. "Well uhm maybe not at this moment but come by my office so we can arrange something." She grins.

I already told my brothers about her and how i have a huge crush on her since my first ever appointment. But hearing her being at her lowest point actually hurt me. See one thing about YN, she's always positive. No matter what. I came from a very competitive and aggressive environment. So talking to her brought out the good and peaceful side of me. She made me a better person. I love that about her. "Miss.. Can i see her tomorrow.. please.. ?" I asked her. "Actually..." She pulls out a pen and sticky note. "Take down her number but i don't have her address but once again we talk about it in my office!" She hands me the note. "I appreciate it." I smiled. "You guys have a great night." She walks back to her car. "Aye man no one is stopping you." Lonzo looks at me. "Maybe this is a sign.." Gelo adds on.
