MELO POV

Me and my family were having dinner at our big dining table. "Melo.. have you found a girlfriend yet?" My dad asked eating his steak. "Dad no... I'm not looking anymore. Girls only want me for 2 things. Money and dicking around." I said. "Heyyy!! Appropriate language please!" My mom complains. "Sorry mom." I said playing with my food. "Look you're young and you're handsome. It wouldn't take that long for you to find the perfect girl." My mom smiles at me. "Well the way he acts, maybe he'll find a girl in the circus." Gelo laughs. "Stop it!" My mom snaps on Gelo. "Well at least I don't have a girl that sucks dick for money." I rolled my eyes. At least I have a girl.. doofus. Gelo barks back. "Look, Im getting a rain check. Goodnight everyone!" I scooted my chair back and ran upstairs. I laid in bed looking at the ceiling. Maybe I'll find that girl. Just a matter of time.

YN POV
I can't believe my sister stole my dream guy.. I watched her kissing her now new boyfriend. Josh was my crush for the longest and I've told her about him boy just like all the crushes I had, she always take them. Josh and Evelyn's been dating for 4 months now. Everytime we go out, they just make out like they're gonna die tomorrow. "Im gonna go inside." I rolled my eyes as I walked inside the house. "Hey YN! What's with the long face?" She asked. "Ask the materialist lady outside." I shrug. "Hey don't get too jealous, you'll find a man.. that's interested in you..and your hobbies...and stuff." My mom awkwardly says. Both my older sister and mom are straight gold diggers. They love designers and rich men. I'm more of a personality type. What my mom means by hobbies is drawing. I love making art. I want to own an art studio. But money has been tight. So i just work at a restaurant.

I went to my room and pulled out my sketchbook. I got a knock from Evelyn. "No one is here!" I yelled. She opens the door. "YN! You would never guess where I was invited to!! Josh's friend is cool with THEEE Ball brothers and we're definitely going!" She shakes my shoulders. "Lyn, you know I'm not a party person." I sighed. "PLEASE! You know we go out together!" She begs. I kept shaking my head. "We can potentially find you your dream man. MAYBE A BALL BROTHER!" She squeals. "Lyn, you're insane." I said. "What will make you go with me?" She gives me the puppy eyes. "Hmmm.. how about you won't bring me to your dates with Josh." I folded my arms. "DEAL!!" She gets excited.

The party was filled with famous people and influencers. My sister disappeared in the crowd. She told to meet her at the car parking lot at 1AM. I sat by the bar and watched how everyone was dancing in love. I sighed feeling upset. "YN.. hey!" Josh walks up to me. "You seen Lyn?" He asks me. "No idea but she promised we'll meet each other at 1AM." I said. "It's ok! I'll see her around. How you been though?" He asks me. "Uhm I'm alright." I nervously say to him. "That's cool! You still be drawing?" He kept having small talk. "Uhm yeah.. I never stopped drawing." I laughed. "That's cool. You're a really cool drawer." He says. "Thanks." I awkwardly nod. "Oh look I see Lyn over there!" I pointed out in the distance. He turns his head looking at that direction. I quickly ran off before he noticed. I walked out the house and sat on the porch. Someone was also sitting on the porch. I took a deep breath. "You ok?" The guy on the porch with me asks. I couldn't recognize him or knew who he was. "Uhm..yeah. I'm just stuck you know?" I answered him. "Ahh I feel you. I'm in the same boat too. I try not to think about it." He says. "What's your name? I asked him. "Oh uhm. Lorenzo." He stuttered a bit. "I'm YN. I'm not all of that but I'm not a bad person. I promise." I giggled. He laughs with me. Me and Lorenzo spoke for hours. We even exchanged numbers. "You're totally different from all the guys I've talked to." I told him. "I'm one of a kind." He chuckles. "Text me when you can ok?" I smiled.
