Chapter 67: Rumble in the jungle - part 2.

3rd POV: With the defeat of nightwing and Wonder Woman, the regime was at a disadvantage. The edenian princess and daughter of darkseid returned to the battle after checking up on the wallcrawlwer and later split off to assist their allies who seemed to be at a stalemate or losing ground.

(Hulk, Thor, Dante vs. Doomsday, Hawkgirl, and Solomon grundy)

Hulk skidded across the ground after taking a hit from Doomsday. The regime controlled beast growled before jumping into the air and performing a drop kick on the Hulk that never landed as the strongest avenger foresaw the attack and grabbed the unstoppable force by their legs and spun him around before tossing him up in the air and jumping after his opponent.

The worldbreaker tackled his opponent, taking both of them away from everyone else before he kicked him across the chest, changing Doomsday's trajectory and forcing him to crash through a mountain.

The Hulk landed on his feet and glared at where he sent his opponent, waiting for any sort of sign of his opponent coming out. When nothing showed, Hulk prepared to cautiously approach the mountain but never got the chance to do so as the ground rumbled and 2 hands suddenly sprouted out of the ground and grabbed the Hulk by the ankles with a head coming out a second later.

"Doom!" Doomsday rumbled, his implanted optics glowing an early crimson before he pulled Hulk down into the ground.

The 2 clashed as they kept falling through the earth before eventually landing in a cavern with Doomsday standing on top of a downed hulk. The former villain of Superman grabbed the hulk by the face before slamming him back down into the ground, repeating the process a couple of more times, denting the ground with every slam before settling for using his fists to pummel the hulk's face in, sending the 2 of them deeper into the ground and tunneling further through the earth's crust, narrowly passing by the core (or going throught I couldn't tell) and ending up on the other side of the world, more specifically the sea. The regime controlled beast wasn't finished and slammed the hulk back into the ground and started throwing a barrage of punches at the hulk again with the 2 going up and eventually ending up back into the cavern where the hulk was casually tossed to the ground.

(Omniverses)

Everyone stared wide-eyed at the screen as they watched Doomsday take hulk through the earth and back up.

Caiera (616) growled at the monster, attacking her beloved in such a manner before she calmed down. Hulk was just getting started, and the battle had only just begun. It was only a matter of time before the strongest Avenger got so angry that he would become a destroyer.

Superman (JLU) got a flashback to when he first faced Doomsday and how he received one of the biggest beatdowns of his life. The kryptonian hoped that the Hulk was strong enough to take the mad science project down for good.

(Injustice world)

Doomsday let out a chuckle as he stomped towards the Hulk and grabbed him by the back of his head and lifted him up, and was greeted to the sight of a smiling Hulk, his face bloody but the avenger didn't care.

"Is that all?" Hulk asked mockingly.

Doomsday didn't like the smugness radiating off of the Hulk and threw a punch, but gamma radiated Avenger caught the punch, and quickly threw his own into his opponents chest. Doomsday got launched off of his feet but the hulk once again grabbed regime monster by the leg and proceed to viciously slam him across the ground before stomping on his face, followed by bringing both arms up and slamming them back down onto Doomsday.

Hulk then proceeded to pummel his opponent into the ground, with his strength increasing with every hit.

Doomsday body suddenly hardened to tank the hits he was receiving and quickly stood up and tackled the hulk through the ceiling of the cavern, bringing them back above ground. Hulk broke out of Doomsday's grasp, and the 2 proceeded to trade blows again, their fists connecting and creating shockwaves that could be felt across the island before they locked arms, trying to overpowe the other.
