Chapter 74.5: The other spider worlds part 4.

A/N: It's been a while since I had done this. I figured I'd revisit it.

3rd POV: The viewing screens across the omniverses suddenly flickered to a black screen, the words "We'll be right back after the break," appearing.

With those words, the omniverses resumed their daily lives temporarily, taking about mundane topics and what they've seen in the injustice universe.

Right after the viewing screens shut off after the message, Peter spent time talking with Teresa Parker (or Agent Teresa Durand of the CIA as she's most commonly known), his estranged sister.

It still felt surreal to the nephew of May Parker that he had an honest to God living and blood related sister. Having spent so long of his life as an only child, the possibility of having another sibling somewhere out there never occurred to him, but here he is.

The 2 chatted for quite a while at Stan's diner, the owner being a great guy and host as he prepared their food and drinks. Peter had explained a bit about himself, his time with aunt may, the day he got bit by the radioactive spider, some of his heroics as Spiderman, helping aunt may at F.E.A.S.T and how he's currently training a new spider.

In return, Teresa talked about herself to her brother. She didn't go into any specifics about what sort of work she did for the CIA (and quite frankly, Peter didn't think he wanted to know), but she talked about her likes and dislikes, some of the bright times in her life as well as the step parents that took her in when her and Peter's parents died.

Peter queried about their parents' deaths since he, aunt May, and uncle Ben were never given the full details of how they perished and wondered if Teresa knew anything. His sister had then explained, from what little she knew, that their dad was a scientist, and their mom was a spy, pretty good ones too, and that both of their parents worker for S.H.I.E.L.D and we're on assignment to go undercover in Oscorp due to the company finding something unknown from a meteorite crash and were ordered to report their findings and any shady business dealings Norman osborn was doing but at some point, they were found out. Their parents tried to escape and go into hiding, but Norman paid top dollar for a no-nonsense mercenary to hunt them down. The merc succeeded in locating them, and, as the saying goes, the rest was history.

The spider themed hero clenched his fists as he listened to his sibling explain the fate of his parents. It made him want to hunt down the one responsible and make them wish for death before he settled down, his anger cooling but still set to boil if he kept thinking about it although he did briefly wonder if taskmaster could have had a hand in his parents deaths but he wasn't too sure.

Meanwhile, the crowd of reporters that were outside of said diner had slowly dwindled to a few as they realised that peter wasn't going to be leaving anytime soon, though a few persistent reporters remained where they were.

At one point, a reporter had managed to sneak into the diner from the emergency exit and made it just in time to listen on Teresa talk about their parents. Just as the reporter was getting ready to record what was being said whilst fantasising about a possible promotion, Stan had spotted the nosy reporter, grabbed the nearest thing to him, which turned out to be a mop, and whacked the reporter with it repeatedly.

This caused the Parker siblings to turn to the commotion and watch in quiet amusement and fascination as Stan "the man" Lee kept whacking the reporter and kicking him out the way he came, spinning the mop around like a professional whilst he was at it.

"And stay out, you good for nothing troublemaker!" Stan yelled before giving one more kick to the reporter's behind, making them stumble and fall. The owner of the diner then shut the door, locked it, barricaded it for good measure, and returned to the front whilst muttering about delinquents but paused when peter and Teresa started clapping at what he just did. Stan laughed a little before getting an over exaggerated bow to his 2 spectators. "Thank you, you're much too kind. Now, can I get you 2 anything?" He asked.
