I just talked to the doctor.

Bailey Nune:
What did they say?

John Nolan:
Is she okay?

Angela Lopez:
How bad is it?

Celina Juarez:
She has internal injuries. A lot of bruising. One broken rib. Possible concussion.

Nyla Harper:
Damn it.

Aaron Thorsen:
Is she awake?

Celina Juarez:
No. Still unconscious.

Bailey Nune:
But she's stable, right?

Celina Juarez:
For now. They're monitoring her closely. But she's been out for too long.

John Nolan:
That's not a good sign.

Angela Lopez:
Where's Tim?

Celina Juarez:
With her. Hasn't left her side.

Aaron Thorsen:
That tracks.

Celina Juarez:
He won't let anyone near her. Not even the nurses unless absolutely necessary.

Nyla Harper:
Of course not. He's in full protector mode.

Bailey Nune:
Did the doctor say when she'll wake up?

Celina Juarez:
They don't know. Could be a few hours. Could be longer.

John Nolan:
And Tim's just... sitting there?

Celina Juarez:
No. He's pacing. Watching every monitor. Every movement. Like he's waiting for something to go wrong.

Angela Lopez:
He's expecting the worst.

Celina Juarez:
Yeah. He keeps looking at her hand, like he wants to hold it but won't.

Aaron Thorsen:
Because if he does, he'll break.

Bailey Nune:
He already is.

Celina Juarez:
I tried talking to him. He didn't even look at me.

Tim needs time.

He needs her to wake up.

Celina Juarez:
Yeah. And until she does, he's not leaving that room.

Celina Juarez:
Doctor just came back.

Bailey Nune:
What now?

Celina Juarez:
Her breathing is shallow. They're worried about a lung contusion.

Angela Lopez:
Meaning?

Celina Juarez:
Meaning she might need more oxygen support.

John Nolan:
I swear to God, if they don't do everything to save her...

Celina Juarez:
They are. But she's weak. Too weak.

Aaron Thorsen:
And Tim?

Celina Juarez:
Still hasn't said a word. Just watching. It's like he's daring her to stop breathing so he can bring her back himself.

Bailey Nune:
That man is barely hanging on.

Celina Juarez:
Yeah. And when she wakes up, he's going to fall apart.

Nyla Harper:
If she wakes up.

Aaron Thorsen:
She will. She has to.

Angela Lopez:
She's Lucy. She's stronger than any of us.
