Angela Lopez:
Update?? Anyone heard anything?
Bailey Nune:
Just got off the phone with the nurse. She's improving. Fever broke around 3 AM. Blood pressure's stabilizing.
Celina Juarez:
Oh thank God.
Aaron Thorsen:
She's awake??
Bailey Nune:
Drifting in and out. But yeah. She opened her eyes a few times. Recognized Tim instantly.
Nyla Harper:
He must be losing it.
Tamara Collins:
He's been by her side all night. Didn't leave once.
Every time she stirred, he was right there. Hand in hers.
John Nolan:
He probably hasn't slept.
Tamara Collins:
He hasn't. He just keeps watching her. Making sure the blanket's tucked, smoothing her hair back. Talking to her softly when she whimpers. It's...
Honestly, it's the sweetest thing I've ever seen.
Bailey Nune:
She seems to relax when she hears his voice. Even if she can't respond. I caught her smiling once. Just barely, but it was there.
Celina Juarez:
Okay, stop, I'm gonna cry.
Aaron Thorsen:
He deserves a medal. Or a nap. Or both.
Tamara Collins:
He keeps trying to get her to rest. Whispering things like "You're safe, I've got you" or "Just sleep, Luce. I'm not going anywhere."
She keeps squeezing his hand. Even half-asleep.
Angela Lopez:
If this doesn't end with a full-on love confession I'm suing.
Bailey Nune:
Let her heal first. But yeah. The tension in that room could melt steel.
John Nolan:
Did she say anything?
Tamara Collins:
Not much. Just bits and pieces. Said his name a few times. Asked where he was.
She never let go of his hand. Even in sleep. He tried to move it once and she stirred immediately.
Nyla Harper:
This is the most romantic fever dream I've ever heard of.
Tim Bradford:
...I can read this, you know.
Celina Juarez:
OH HE'S ALIVE.
Aaron Thorsen:
Busted.
Angela Lopez:
How's she really doing, Tim?
Tim Bradford:
Better. Still drowsy. Still weak. But her fever's down, she's lucid when she wakes up.
Every time she opens her eyes, she looks for me. I'm not going anywhere.
Tamara Collins:
She knows.
Bailey Nune:
Keep doing what you're doing. She's healing because she feels safe.
Tim Bradford:
She is safe.
Long as I'm here, she always will be.
