Angela Lopez:
Okay, so... is he still alive?
Lucy Chen:
Yes, he's still alive. I even checked.
Bailey Nune:
You checked?
Lucy Chen:
I may have poked him with a stick, but it's fine. He grunted. He's alive.
Nyla Harper:
Lucy... you poked him with a stick?
Lucy Chen:
He's a heavy sleeper, alright?
Aaron Thorsen:
I have to admit, I'm impressed.
Tim Bradford:
I CAN HEAR YOU.
John Nolan:
Wait. He's awake?
Lucy Chen:
Just barely.
Tim Bradford:
You guys talk way too much.
Celina Juarez:
So you're finally awake. How do you feel?
Tim Bradford:
Like I just got dragged out of a cave. I can't remember the last time I slept this much.
Bailey Nune:
How long has it been?
Tim Bradford:
I don't know, but my alarm didn't go off, so I'm assuming I needed it.
Lucy Chen:
You definitely needed it. You've been running on fumes for weeks, Tim.
Angela Lopez:
No kidding.
Tim Bradford:
I'm fine. I just needed some sleep.
John Nolan:
You sure? You kind of missed roll call, your shift, and, you know, everything.
Tim Bradford:
I know how to be late, Nolan. I don't need you to rub it in.
Aaron Thorsen:
We're just making sure you're not dead in a pile of your own sweat and tears.
Tim Bradford:
That's a lovely mental image, Aaron. Thanks.
Nyla Harper:
You know, if you need a break, we can swap shifts.
Tim Bradford:
I'll be fine. Just give me a minute to adjust.
Lucy Chen:
Take your time, Tim. We all know you needed this more than anyone.
Tim Bradford:
And you're a real angel for making sure I didn't suffocate in my own bed.
Celina Juarez:
Just don't make it a habit of disappearing on us, Bradford.
Bailey Nune:
We might get worried next time.
Tim Bradford:
You guys worry too much. But I'll make sure to set about 100 alarms next time.
Lucy Chen:
You're probably gonna need them.
Angela Lopez:
Better yet, get a real alarm clock. Not your phone.
Tim Bradford:
Real alarm clock? That's old school, Angela.
Lucy Chen:
You should've listened to me when I said to rest.
Tim Bradford:
Yeah, yeah. I get it. I'm just not one for resting.
John Nolan:
Well, just don't make us panic again, okay?
Tim Bradford:
I'll do my best.
Bailey Nune:
Good. Now take a nap and don't come in until you're actually awake.
Tim Bradford:
I'm not going back to bed.
Aaron Thorsen:
What?
Tim Bradford:
I'm fine. I'll shake it off.
Lucy Chen:
You sure? Because if you're not going to bed, I'll just have to keep you company while you try to stay awake.
Tim Bradford:
You're trying to get me to sleep, aren't you?
Lucy Chen:
I'm just offering. It's a very tempting offer. You can't tell me you don't want company... especially when it's me.
Tim Bradford:
Oh, so now you're offering to keep me company while I "rest"?
Lucy Chen:
I'm offering to keep you company while you try to stay awake. But if you really wanted to rest, I might be able to help with that.
Tim Bradford:
I'm not that tired. Just needed a break.
Lucy Chen:
You can have a break at home... I was actually on my way there now. But you're right, maybe you just need to get some sleep. Together.
Tim Bradford:
Wait, so now you're suggesting I sleep at my place, but with you?
Lucy Chen:
You're the one who didn't want to sleep earlier. You might as well have some company while you do.
Tim Bradford:
...Fine. You win. Come over. But you're making sure I don't turn into a total wreck after all this.
Lucy Chen:
You got it.
Angela Lopez:
Oh, so now it's "come over" time? How cute.
Tim Bradford:
You're all terrible.
Aaron Thorsen:
Take care of yourself, Tim. We'll be over here, pretending not to be jealous.
Bailey Nune:
Enjoy the nap. Lucy's very good at making sure you get your rest.
John Nolan:
Just make sure you're actually resting, Tim. Not just... you know, resting.
Lucy Chen:
God, you guys are relentless.
Tim Bradford:
That's what I get for falling asleep on the job.
