Tim Bradford: It went... fine.

Tim Bradford: The kid had a good time. Mission accomplished.
John Nolan: That's suspiciously vague.
Angela Lopez: Tim, what happened?
Tim Bradford: Nothing happened. We showed him around, explained some procedures, let him sit in the patrol car.
Aaron Thorsen: And?
Tim Bradford: And Lucy's coming with me to the follow-up visit.
Lucy Chen: WAIT, WHAT?
Celina Juarez: Follow-up visit?
Tim Bradford: Marcus specifically requested that his "police parents" both come to his birthday party next week.
Angela Lopez: I'm sorry, POLICE PARENTS?
Lucy Chen: We're not his police parents!
Tim Bradford: Tell that to Marcus. And his actual parents. And the entire Make-A-Dream Foundation.
Nyla Harper: I need details. Now.
Tim Bradford: Lucy, you explain. This is YOUR fault.

Tim Bradford: You signed me up! You told them I was a "teddy bear"!

Tim Bradford: He told his parents that Sergeant Tim and Sergeant Lucy were "the sweetest parents ever."

Lucy Chen: I may have... talked to Marcus for a few minutes while Tim was getting his gear.
Tim Bradford: A few minutes?
Lucy Chen: Twenty minutes, tops.
Tim Bradford: She gave him a full tour of the station, let him play with the fingerprint scanner, AND bought him lunch.
Angela Lopez: That's actually really sweet, Lucy.
Lucy Chen: See? I was being nice!
Tim Bradford: You also told him we were "work partners and life partners."
Lucy Chen: I DID NOT SAY THAT.
Tim Bradford: You said we were "the best team ever and always look out for each other."
Aaron Thorsen: That's basically the same thing to a kid.
John Nolan: What did Marcus say?
Tim Bradford: He asked if we were married.
