Damon stares at Kai with furrowed eyebrows and judgmental eyes. You knew your brother didn't accept that you loved Kai but he needed to accept your relationship. Damon glares at you and then at Kai; who's stuffing his face with the pasta you cooked. Stefan remained silent and continued eating his happily prepared meal.
"What did you do with our sister, and who the hell is she?!" Damon demands, extending his index finger directly at you. "Damon!" you shout, with widened eyes and a gasped mouth. Kai almost chokes when swallowing his food, so you quickly stand up to make sure he's okay.

Kai swooshes you, telling you it's alright with hand gestures as he clears his throat. You exchange glares with Damon, widening your eyes in disbelief as Stefan takes a sip of his champagne.
                         You didn't expect Stefan to always fight your battles but you did expect him to at least assist you with this one. If anyone understood misunderstood love was Stefan, considering his love interest was once Katherine Pierce.

Damon holds his hands up in defense, "I'm not sorry Y/N, but somebody had to ask." and you stand with crossed arms, you hated when Damon called you by your nicknames. It was his way of trying to joke with you during a serious matter. "You and Stefan discussed this? Why would --" but Kai interrupts you, shaking his head to disagree with you.

"Damon is right to think that way, Y/N." Kai admits. You sit back down in your seat, not believing how bad dinner was going.

"He is?" Stefan and you mumble. Damon darts you and Stefan a crestfallen glare of disappointment. "Don't sound so surprised." the raven haired oldest brother grins. Stefan places his hands on top of your's, "Y/N, Damon and I only discussed this because it needed to be." he says in so many words.

You nod, "So you believe Kai did something to the real me because the real me wouldn't have fallen in love with him?" You ask, in confusion. Stefan glares at Damon and nods, "Yeah..... pretty much," he makes slight eye contact with Kai, "No offense."
Kai shakes his head. "No... no apologizes by all means, I totally deserve whatever hatred you and your brother have against me." but you blurt, "No, what the hell are you talking about?!" but Kai doesn't argue with you.

"My brothers have no right to judge you or tell me if your good enough for me. They should understand what it's like to be judged by the one they love." you stare into his eyes, smiling at him. The humane look in his eyes made you smile even harder, unable to control your happiness towards him.
You stand up from the dinner table and Kai does the same, you can see the confusion in your brothers eyes as you and Kai lock hands. You had never loved anyone as much as you loved Kai.
