42. THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY 2/2

            Previously: you risk your life to save a college student, from being trapped in a spell used by Kai. Not being able to make it out yourself, Kai puts the spell on Whitmore College anyways and holds you as a hostage.

"Wakey, Wakey. Little vampire." Kai smiles, as your vision still remained hasty. He stands in front of you, waving a beef jerky under your nose.
It wasn't exactly the meal you desired to have; then again it wasn't a meal anyways, but it was the only thing he was offering. You licked your dry lips, as you started at the jerky in his hands.

He grins as your eyes follow his hand, that's moving the snack in front of your face.
Kai quickly pulls the jerky away and shoved it in his mouth, teasing you. "Dick." you mutter, lowering your head in exhaustion. You expected your body to crumble to the floor, because of how exhausted you were.

But instead you hung and that's when you gained enough strength to see why. For all you knew Kai could have had you dangling over a pool of purina. You slowly lifted your head upwards, to were the source of you hanging was coming from; your arms.
Kai had found chains and tied your arms to the ceiling.

"A super market?" you groan, finally paying attention to the two rows on neither side of you. "Aisle eight, to be exact." Kai says, walking over to your left to grab a can of string beans.

"I was thinking pot roast and string beans? Tell me if that sounds appealing to you." he asks, examining the can. In all honestly you didn't want to him to cook you a meal, it seemed ridiculous.

"Aren't you suppose to be the murderous serial killer who doesn't care about their victims?" it seemed abnormal for someone like Kai to do such a thing. Kai sets the can of string beans on the shelf, "I merged with my brother, Luke, so I gained some of his emotions."

         "You what?" you blurt, completely unaware of what a merge was. Kai shakes his head, "Forget it, none of that matters." Kai sighs, taking steps closer to you.
You could feel your breathe hitch, his closeness was making you nervous. Kai tugs at the jails holding you up, "I'll make you a deal," he mumbles, his eyes flicker at you and then back at the chains around your wrist.

You turn your head away from him, "I'm not making any deals with you." and Kai grins at you, "Fine.... have it your way..." and he begins to walk away.
"Kai." you state, anxiously. He was walking down the aisle, completely ignoring you.

"Kai!" you shout loudly, trying to pull the chains but you knew it wouldn't work. There was a moment of silence once Kai was gone, but you weren't sure if he was actually gone.
You wanted to believe that he wasn't gone because he was your only way out of these chains. You were about to scream his name until the lights in the whole place shut off. You scoffed, angrily as you stood in the darkness.

"See you in the morning, Y/N. Sleep tight." Kai shouts from what you believed to be from the front entrance of the store.

A/n: okay this was really shitty, like I don't know what I was thinking. The first part was going good and then *BAM*, what the fuck is this? But I'll promise I'll actually try to do better, I just wanted to update and I got lazy. Sorry lol.
