KAI PARKER IMAGINES
63. WILDEST DREAMS

               "Liv, your friend is here!"

You were standing outside of the Parker's house on their porch with your textbooks pressed against your chest awkwardly, as Liv's older brother stood in front of you. The first thing you noticed was his blue-grey eyes staring down at you.
Usually you avoided eye contact with Kai and made a few glances every now and then, but staring into his eyes made you even more timid.
You and Liv were both seniors at Whitmore High School and were close friends, so you often went to her house to study whenever your teachers gave you weekend homework that you didn't understand.

Kai was staring at you oddly, as he stood in the door frame. He stares look uninterested and bothered, as if he was doing something important and you ringing the door interrupted him. He didn't realize why you were there until his eyes left yours and he noticed the textbooks in your hands.
You thought Kai was intimidating, because he was tall, handsome, and not to mention sarcastic. You couldn't handle his sarcasm sometimes because you couldn't tell if he was being serious or not.

Kai lowered his hand from the door and motioned for you to come inside. You quickly walked inside clinching the sides of your textbooks with your nails. Your chin rested on the closed pages of the books, nervously.

He closed and locked the front door but lingered among the bottom of the staircase because he wanted to wait for his sister to come downstairs.
You slowly walked through the living room and made your way towards the dinning room table and that's when you realized why Kai was lurking around. A dark haired girl in a elegant red dress sat at a neatly decorated table in the backyard. He's on a date, you thought. Your lips parted and you felt as if you had forgotten how to breathe.

Kai approached you, "I don't think my sister is here," you were too busy staring at the girl outside, you didn't want to scold the girl but it was hard. Your eyelashes fluttered in confusion, you had heard his voice but it sounded like white noise. "Huh?" You felt your tone crack, so you tried to clear your throat but there was no use.
Your eyes lowered to the floor, as you tried to sound so disappointed that he was on a date. He chuckled a little, noticing how distracted you seemed so suddenly. You turned sideways to look at him.

"I think you should come over tomorrow because I don't think my sister is here." You felt angry with him, surely he didn't know that you had the biggest crush on him but you felt like you gave him hints that you liked him and yet here he was on a date.
"Can you add less go upstairs and see if she's here?" You looked into his eyes, he looked towards his date then back at you. "Y/n, I'm kinda in the middle of something..." You took a deep and slow breathe, that rose your shoulders high.

"Ah yeah, your on a date." You laughed, as you slid a strand of your hair behind your ear. He saw how unhappy you looked, yet he remained silent as you tried to stop day dreaming.
You knew that he was waiting for you to leave, he wanted you to leave but it wasn't because he didn't like you. "You can wait for Liv if you want?" Kai offered, his eyebrows scrunched.

He felt bad that you came all the way over there just to leave. You smiled politely at him, "No... I can come back tomorrow." You couldn't really look at him, all you kept thinking about was the girl sitting at the table in the backyard.
You felt jealous that some girl was outside enjoying the amazing sensory that Kai made for her and you hated feeling jealous. He insisted, "Are you sure because Liv will probably be back soon," you didn't understand why he so tempted to convince you to stay.
