KAI PARKER IMAGINES
40. DOPPELGÄNGER 2/2

Previously: you met Kai at the Mystic Grill claiming you were the funnier Doppelgänger of you and Elena.

You sank your teeth into your victim's neck, as she screamed and swarmed in pain. You nearly drained her entirely if it wasn't for Kai stopping you.
"Don't kill this one." he pulls you away from the brunette. You nearly stumble back, blood dripping down your chin. You used the back of your palm to wipe your chin.

"What are you doing?" you question, but Kai tells you to compel the girl to relax so you do so. Then as you turn towards him he stands with his arm crossed over his chest. The girl was still gasping and looked totally freaked out. But there was a reason why he didn't tell you to compel her to forget.
Kai walks towards the girl and places his hand on her shoulder, "Let's make this more interesting." he grins, bringing the bottle of whiskey to his lips.

You and Kai strolled through the woods, looking for the the girl. "Sophia?!" you shout, grinning in amusement. It wasn't the girl's name but you thought you'd call her it anyways. Of course Sophia didn't respond considering it would be pretty dumb, to shout "oh here I am" to a killer trying to kill you.

But you felt more in control when you shouted your victims' names, something about being terrifying made you feel good.
Because if people found you terrifying they wouldn't mess with you, and you could also get whatever you wanted. Kai trailed behind you, taking sips of his whiskey. You weaved throughout the trees, staring into the darkness of the woods. The  crescent moon was the only light source you and Kai had.

You and Kai continued to stroll farther and farther into the woods, searching for the girl. "This is all your fault." you groan, wiping the dry blood from the corners of your mouth.
Apart of you were becoming afraid that Sophia got help. What if she found her way to the next city over? You thought worryingly, you hated being so cautious because it always ruined your fun.

Kai walks beside you, "Oh stop complaining, pouty pants. I doubt Sophia even got that far." he laughs. You halt dead in your tracks and turn to face Kai, "Don't call me pouty pants." you scoff.

                                  "Fine, sassy pants."

You sigh and continue walking, until you and Kai stumble across a cabin. Kai takes a sip of his whiskey then glares at you, "She's gotta be in there." he assures, and you assumed all so, well add less if Sophia was smart
You were exhausted and extremely hungry, but of corse Kai never would never understand that. He was a witch so he didn't have to worry about getting his food by force. He could just walk into some restaurant or drive thru and order a meal, so could you but food never really filled you up.

Kai and you approached the large cabin, there were no lights on but you didn't want to assume Sophia couldn't possibly be in there.

"Let's hurry up and find this girl, I'm being hungrier and hungrier by the minute." you complain, as you reached towards the door nob of the cabin door. Once you guys were inside your eyes wandered around the living room.
There were deer heads on the walls and ugly floral print furniture everywhere. "Somebody likes floral." Kai jokes, as he wanders around the room.

You laugh a little, "Let's worry about the hideous floral print furniture later." as you approached a mini hallway farther into the house.
You stood in front of a staircase, glaring up at the steps that disappeared into the darkness.

Kai was still in the living room observing the furniture. You slowly went into a daze, feeling as if you and Kai weren't the only ones in the cabin.
The feeling you got made you feel tense, almost too afraid to more.

Sophia screams from upstairs, and you rush upstairs to help her. You didn't understand why your first instinct was to help Sophia considering she was technically your meal.
But no matter how hard you tried not to care, sometimes you felt the need to help others.

Kai was right behind you as you ran upstairs and down the hallway. There were thuds and you knew there was a struggle. You were hallway down the hallway, approaching where Sophia was when she came flying through the wall.
See Sophia fly through the wall frightened you, nearly knocking you over. Luckily for you, Kai caught you and pulled you back.

You could barley stand on your own two feet, as you stated at the large hole in the wall. Whatever through Sophia through the wall was still in the room, and you were afraid to see what it was.
You didn't know any vampires capable of doing such damage but a vampire had to be the only reason why it attacked Sophia.

Kai pulls you towards him, trying to support you up. Sophia laid with her back against the wall in the hallway, covered in fragments of the wall.
Sophia's head was bloody and blood was coming out from her nose. There was no way she was alive, but you and Kai didn't want to stick around any longer.

You and Kai took steps back towards the staircase, as someone stepped out from the hole in the wall. Kai grabbed your hand and pulled you along with him, refusing to come face to face with Sophia's killer.
