HARRY HAD NEVER FELT SUCH RAGE for a human. He had always had a strange feeling about Alexander, for a short period he'd known about him, but never had he wanted to cast an unforgivable on someone so badly — and he didn't feel bad about thinking it.
After holding Alora for an hour whilst she cried, Harry sneakily asked where Alexander's dormitory was — she seemed to not find it strange, too drained to think about why he may be asking such questions, because Harry knew that if Alora was her usual self she would be asking him all sorts of queries.
Harry looked down at Alora's sleeping self, he gently picked her head up from his shoulder before softly picking up the rest of her body. Harry carried Alora to the Gryffindor common room and got to the beginning of the stairs that led to the girls' dormitories before realising that he wasn't allowed. Harry swerved around on his heel and placed Alora on one of the sofas next to the soothing fireplace.
Harry planted a small kiss on Alora's forehead and walked out of the common room once again. He almost sprinted over to the Hufflepuff common room, forgetting that he did not possess the password.
"Harry?"
Harry swivelled on his heel to see Aria standing behind him. She frowned but nonetheless walked to stand by his side.
Aria looked to have been crying, her eyes were red and she sniffled more than the normal person would, despite this, and despite Harry knowing the reason why, she still turned to look at him. Harry awkwardly faced her, hoping that nothing across his expression gave the fact that he knew anything away.
"Are you looking for Lori?" Aria asked.
"Yeah, is she in here?" Harry lied.
"I doubt it," Aria sighed, "she ran ou—I haven't seen her since dinner, I thought you would've."
"No, I haven't seen her since dinner," Harry shook his head, "I assumed she'd be with you, there's something I want to talk to her about."
Aria had a look on her eye that Harry simply couldn't read. Aria shrugged her shoulders and allowed him inside the common room. She was quick to head up to her dormitory, allowing Harry to go to the boys' area without Aria becoming suspicious.
Harry walked to Alexander's dormitory and knocked on the door.
Alexander opened the door, he looked a little alarmed yet hopeful that the person standing on the other end of the door would be a black haired girl with hazel eyes. His eyebrows knitted together confusedly, Harry assumed he didn't know about their relationship, otherwise he wouldn't have looked so puzzled.
"Harry?" Alexander questioned, "Is everything okay?"
"Why don't you tell me." Harry said irritably.
"What do you mean?" Alexander swallowed thickly, a hint of nervousness came to his tone. "Come in."
Harry walked in and stood beside Alexander's bed as he closed the door.
"So," Alexander clasped his hands together, "is Alora okay?"
"Don't play nice, Alexander, I know what you did."
The color washed from Alexander's face, his knuckles clenched as did his jaw. He swallowed and diverted his eyes from Harry's. Alexander knew he couldn't hide it from Harry, not when he understood that Alora had told him herself, he mentally scolded himself for not thinking about that scenario sooner.
