When they get up stairs, Jackson closes the door and turns to face Sevyn who has climbed into the bed and buried herself in blankets. Malcolm finally switched the lights back on while everyone was down stairs, so they're not in total darkness anymore.
Sevyn was the first one to run back upstairs and flee to her room before anyone could ask her questions. She's still trying to figure out what happened downstairs and her body is too shaken up to think properly. Corey is her best friend...but he kissed her. He kissed her so unexpectedly that she pushed him way harder than she thought she could. Everything about the situation scared her. She's never seen him drunk, never heard him talk that way before, and never saw that much hurt in his eyes. The image of him laying in glass, murmuring incoherently is etched into her mind and she can't get it out.
Jackson sits down on the edge of the bed. "Sevyn, what happened?"
She curls up tighter under the blankets, wishing she was small enough to just disappear. She doesn't want to tell Jackson what happened or he'll blow up. Especially since she told him hundred of times that they have no feelings towards each other. Now he's really going to be suspicious towards Corey. Something she doesn't want to happen.
Lying to Jackson isn't smart either. She was pissed at him just for talking to Taylor, how would it look if she lied about Corey kissing her. Caught at a cross roads, Sevyn peeks her head out from under the blankets and looks at Jackson.
"Corey kissed me." Comes her muffled reply before she quickly hides under the blankets again.
She waits a second, knowing that any moment Jackson is going to bombard her with questions, but the rage never comes. It's dead silent which makes her lift the pillow a little to see that no ones there. Sevyn throws the pillow off her head and looks around the room but Jackson isn't there anymore.
"Ja--" she's cut off by the harsh sound of a door slamming against the wall. She jumps out the bed and runs down the hallway where light is spilling out of Corey and Shaun's room. Sevyn enters the room to find Corey on the floor clutching his face, while Shaun holds Jackson back.
"Chill Jackson, chill!" Shaun says, struggling to hold him back.
"No! I've been way too chill for too long. I've been passive for the longest but this shit has gone too far!" Jackson shouts, trying to tear Shaun off him.
"Why is there always some crazy shit poppin off?" Ty groans as he and the others walk in.
"What happened this time?" Malcolm asks.
"He kissed Sevyn!" Jackson shouts, his ears practically have steam coming out of them.
"He was drunk!" Sevyn points out, grabbing Jackson's arm. "Jackson just listen to me."
Jackson ignores her, "Let me go Shaun, he doesn't get the fact that we're together and he's just a friend. Let me teach him that lesson man!"
"Nah JD, you gonna regret that man. Just calm down." Shaun tells him.
Monica, Kat and Miranda check to see if Corey is ok but he stays sprawled across the floor with his hand on his face. Sevyn doesn't know what to do. Drag Jackson out or tend to Corey. Her head hurts from all the noise and the only thing she really wants to do is crawl back under her covers.
"HEY!" A terrifyingly loud voice screams. Everyone pauses and looks towards the door where her aunt is standing. "I just got back from shopping and I trusted y'all enough to leave you alone for a few hours. I've been lenient for a long time, but one thing I don't tolerate is that fighting mess. Now cut that out before I make you sleep on the porch. Alright?"
